CROOKS! If there was a rating less than 1 they would get it. Absolutely liars from the owner down to the sales team. The owner said because I was complaining of them selling me a bad truck that had issues since day 1 that I wasn’t a good Christian. They told me the truck was like new condition and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. They said they wouldn’t fix it. After having a lawyer sending them a letting they changed their tone. Turns out they put illegal aftermarket bypass parts on it to cover up the problem. They capped off the valve and reset the computer to clear the codes temporarily. It’s now broken again because my local mechanic said they didn’t even install the aftermarket parts on correctly. Toyota said to fix it it would be about $4,500. During the time wares had it they also put a dent/ scratch in the side. They also broke off the heat shield. They then denied it of course. The owner and sales team will say whatever they can to cut you down and not take blame. I have pictures for all of this including text conversations. Horribly dishonest people. DO NOT BUY FROM WARES!!!!

Laughably overpriced cars. And if you look under them they are usually very rusty and that rust is spray painted over. You’d have to be a fool to buy something from this place

Came here for the reputation this business has. Bought a jeep from them. It needed 2 things repaired after getting a 3rd party inspection. Brought the jeep back to wares and they verified what was wrong and said they ordered the parts. 3 months later the lug nuts came loose on one of the wheels they had off. The front left. I brought the jeep back to have them look at the lug nuts to confirm they were torked down to specs. I then inquired about the parts that were ordered. Come to find out they were never ordered. Even called them to check the status of the parts. When I brought up the fact that they were never ordered I was told they can’t control what happens in the service department. That’s after we were told the parts hadn’t come in. After telling them they lied about the parts not being in because they were never ordered Chaise and the owner got an attitude with me and the owner told me to leave. They have problems with help and when confronted on the situation they turned into Aholes and I was told to leave.Good thing the wheel didn’t fall off going down the road, one missing wheel stud, and 3 others were so loose you could turn them by hand. I will never go back no will I ever recommend anyone buying anything from here.Typical used car salesman. Their all shady as hell here.

Totally bummed. Bought a car there 6 months ago and trusted that their mechanics had done a thorough inspection before putting it on the lot. I was wrong. I drove over a minor pothole last week, which caused the frame to break. I didn't know it when I bought it, but the underside was severely deteriorated from rust. The body shops I took it to said the structural integrity of the car was severely compromised and it was declared a total loss. So I got to spend $8,000 to drive a car for 6 months. I thought this place had a good reputation? Lesson learned, I guess. Don't buy from Wares.

Bought a car there in January and the shopping experience was very positive. The car was reliable for 6 months, until I drove over a minor pothole, which broke the frame. The entire frame was so rusted that the car was declared a total loss. This was a car with under 90,000 miles on it. So I got to spend $8000 to drive a car for 6 months, then pay the rest of the loan off. I really thought this was a reputable dealership. Lesson learned, I guess.

I purchased a Subaru Outback from Wares Auto last week. I liked that I was able to wander around the lot without being hassled. Once I was ready to test drive one of the vehicles Skylar was very easy to work with. He did a thorough job going over financing options and extended warranty packages. I never felt pressured to buy anything and the experience was enjoyable. There was an issue with the wiper fluid in the front and Skylar brought a mechanic out right away to address the issue before I drove off the lot. I feel like I could drop in any time if I had a problem and would be treated warmly and with respect. As a female who looks younger than she is I value being treated with respect and not being talked down to. Skylar treated me as an equal.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS AFTER YOU BUY.I bought a 2015 Volvo (certified pre-owned) from Wares Auto for over $18,000 within the last 6 months and since have only had issues. Not a half a year in and I have just under $4,000 in repairs to pay on the vehicle. I even informed the salesman, Skylar, that I would be having my first baby by June so if I was going to spend this much money I needed a reliable vehicle. Not to mention I had picked out two other vehicles I wanted and he guided me to this one.Within one week of having the vehicle the engine light was on, so I brought it back in and was told the ONLY thing wrong with the car was the O2 Sensor. These people bandaid vehicles and sell you junk cars. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS AFTER YOU BUY.

I was an employee and service manager at this location for a number of years. It is definitely one of the worst places I have ever worked. The sales team is great and so is the service team. The real problem is the toxicity of the owner, Craig. I'll share one example (of the many) on why I decided I had to move on.A couple years ago, we had a customer who bought a vehicle and during their first service, we recommended their tires to be replaced due to the tread life being below the legal limit. The customer was rightfully upset as he just purchased the car thinking that the car had a full inspection. We owed that customer tires. The customer talked to Craig, stating that the tires needed to be replaced and we didn't replace them prior to sale. This is where things start to get off the rails. The correct response would be to take care of the customer and buy them a set of tires in an attempt to maintain customer satisfaction. The actual result was Craig walking into the service drive and threatening all of our jobs. He told us if we ever told a customer that recently bought a car that they needed tires, we would get fired. He was upset that he would lose several hundred dollars on the sale to buy tires for the customer. Ignoring the obvious legal implications of this, I have a moral obligation to do what's best for the customer. These kinds of scenarios happened on a regular basis with Craig and it wore me down to the point where I had to get out of the industry. Near the end of my career with Wares, I made a deal with Craig that I would continue to work part time through college to help his business. At that point, there was only a couple service employees working because the rest quit and I didn't want to leave him hanging with nothing. The shop was full of customer vehicles and lot vehicles to service with no one to service them. As soon as we hired a few people and after I trained them, Craig got a salesperson to fire me (I guess he was too scared to do it himself) out of the blue. No warnings, nothing. Upon filing for unemployment, Craig lied to the State about me not fulfilling my work duties, saying he gave me several warnings, ect, in an attempt to not pay out my unemployment. I gave ample evidence to the State and it was a quick victory for me. The agent I talked with seemed amused with my documentation about this facility.I wouldn't be surprised if the owner replied to this review and made up additional stories to try and make me look bad and him good because that's the kind of thing he does. He pretends to care about his employees but he doesn't. He cares about money. This business is one of those companies that has a good exterior look to them, (reviews, ect) but is pure toxic inside. We try to do a good job of not letting customers see those parts. I do miss my co-workers, the sales team, the service writer, and new service manager, but I will never give my money or business to someone like Craig and I would urge you to do the same.
