Horrible experience. Customer service is unresponsiveand rude. Lead times are incredibly long. Shipping options are ridiculous (unload yourself, drop at curb, drop at door). 5-10% cancellation charge even if furniture is not in production AND charged on the total (shipping & tax). Would definitely look elsewhere.

Reasons to buy from this company You like to be demeaned by "customer"service" You don't like receiving what you pay for You like subpar quality You like to have a company tell you that the product does not meet their standards, yet they will not correct the issue. I guess this also covers why you shouldn't buy from them, so I will omit that part.

We stop in to look around every time we are in town with the family. They have a lot of great stuff and it's fun to look. This time my daughters each got a couple of small things as gifts for Christmas but usually we just look. In general the furniture is pretty over-priced even for Traverse City.

This compliant is about how the product is delivered I Ordered 6 leather chairs. When I called, I was told by the customer service mgr. who took my order that I qualified for free shipping. When the items arrived by Fed Ex and not a freight truck the driver dropped a 5-foot x 5-foot x 3-foot wooden crate at the entrance to my house and walked away without having inspected them or getting a signature. So, what you need to know when ordering from this company is you are responsible for using a crowbar and hammer to open the create and then disposing it. The hauling the furniture in and if there's a problem well, I don't know how they would handle it but given my experience I can't say I feel confident. After explaining that I never had furniture delivered where they would just leave a crate and you couldn't inspect the merchandise. In fact, the customer service mgr. said: " Per our shipping manager, FedEx actually performed a threshold delivery for you. You chose our free shipping option and would've been responsible for unloading the furniture. Instead, the driver unloaded for you." I guess he wanted a 73-year-old to jump up on the Fed EX truck and unload it? And did they think Fed ex would allow that?

Do not do business with Woodland Creek Furniture. My personal experience: We ordered a dining table, coffee table, and end table on 3/23/2023 and paid in full at the time of purchase. The estimated lead time on each item was 12-14 weeks. I phoned them in May inquiring about an update. I was given an estimated completion of 6/28/2023 with an additional crating and shipping time of 10-14 days. This window came and went with zero correspondence from Woodland Creek, and I inquired again about an update in the third week of July. I was told that the coffee table and end table were finished, but there was an issue during the quality check of the dining room table and that it had to be sent back to the builder to fix an epoxy issue. I received no update or correspondence at all and reached back out to them on 8/7/2023. I was told and I quote "Your order will be completed tomorrow and will ship in 7-10 business days." After receiving zero correspondence, updates, shipping notifications, etc. again, I contacted them again on 8/21/2023. I was told that the same defect was found during the quality check and that in addition that, the table top had warped, quote, "into the shape of a taco" and that a new table top would have to be made with an estimated lead time of three weeks. I was offered a discount of $360. I was not satisfied with this and the discount offer was increased to $540. After discussing this with my wife, I canceled the entire order. Then received a phone call from a warehouse manager apologizing. He offered me free white glove delivery, and the $540 discount, and guaranteed that it would ship the following Friday if I kept the order. We accepted the offer and waited. Friday came and went and I contacted them today for an update. I was informed that the entire order was canceled, with no explanation why, and no one had contacted me to tell me this. Do not trust this company, buy furniture elsewhere.

Bought a wine rack there a few years back. Wanted something unique and I found it there. Many to choose from too. Was hard to decide.

My absolute FAVORITE store to find furniture and décor NOBODY else has. It’s a wonderful mix of rustic and modern.

The table top is full of black filler. There is a hole on one side that goes down into the wood. It was not even filled in with black filler. The edges are not what we ordered. The height is not what we ordered. And my family cannot even use the table. It took seven months to get an answer from Chase, the store manager, who balked at sending us what we ordered due to the shipping cost. We cannot use the table. It's sitting in our garage. To say we are unhappy customers in an understatement. After we received the wrong table, we were asked to email about thirty times about the problem, we had to speak on the telephone about six times, and we were asked to send videos. This translated into hours and hours of headaches.

We ordered a canopy bed from this company. The bed arrived over 9 weeks late. There was no independent communication from the company explaining the reason or apologizing- I had to inquire multiple times before it finally arrived. Upon arriving, it arrived defective- missing hardware and with slats that don't fit the bed. On top of this, the bed comes with no instructions, so after you carry each individual piece into your house, you are also on your own for putting it together, but in an even worse position than if you'd just ordered something from IKEA , who at least makes sure that the final steps they leave you to do on your own are clear. I am familiar with tools and have done some woodworking, still the construction was not immediately obvious and requires purchase of additional hardware and wood. I'd recommend building your own bed since the plan would be more clear and it would happen faster. For the price of this bed, I'd expect far better and there are in fact far better options out there with better overall customer experience.

Did they take 7 months to deliver furniture that they said they would deliver in 3? Yes. Did they communicate with me throughout the entire process and try everything in their power to help our situation? Also yes. We finally got our furniture that we ordered in March this week and honestly, it's even better than expected. The quality is amazing and the pieces are incredibly beautiful! If you have patience and understanding, this furniture is well worth the wait! The customer service we received from the ******** location was fantastic.

Ordered in January 2022: 1 bathroom vanity, 1 medicine cabinet, and 2 mirrors Received order May 20, 2022 When we started to install on 6/13/22 I was surprised by the numerous quality issues: The bathroom vanity was supposed to have hardware on the top corners, which it did not. The backsplash and the side splash were 2 different heights. The medicine cabinet hardware on the inside was installed crooked so that the shelves wobbled. The bars that hold the shelves were not installed level. The medicine cabinet shelves were too wide to be able to close the door. There was no way to hang the medicine cabinet. (No hook or wire, etc. There was NO follow-up after I placed the order. I had to initiate calls along the way. When I discovered all these problems with their manufacturing, I sent this list to them via email. Horrible customer service. No one would return my calls. When I finally received an email from the Manager (he had been on vacation and no one else could help me while he was gone) he told me that clients only have 5 days to report any issues and "you've had your furniture for months." Actually, the installation was 3 weeks + 2 days later, not "months." Would have been much sooner if they could have let me know for sure when it would be delivered. Because of the uncertainty of the delivery date, I could not arrange with my installer until the furniture was actually on site. Anyway - atrocious craftsmanship and even worse customer service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I purchased the Rustic Campfire Vanity. This is not a quality piece of furniture and not worth the price. I'd rate it a zero if that was an option. Dealing with Customer Service and Sales was not a good experience. Issues: What I received vs the photo of what I'd receive was different. Mine had no fake drawer above the door under the sink, and the wood slats on the sides were horizontal vs vertical. The drawers only go back 3/4 of the way, and they are not fit square. Most of the construction is cheap luan and plywood with overlay of pine, so inside is very rough looking. The vanity top has grooves in it which will collect water. Extra holes are drilled all inside where they seemed to miss fitting it properly and had to redo. The door doesn't fit - gap at the top is noticeably different than the bottom. The magnet to hold the door closed is installed on the bottom which means when you use the handle near the top, you have to pull really hard to open; it should be in the middle to distribute the weight properly. It arrived with wood chips from construction in it - they didn't even take the time to clean it up before shipping. The "barn wood" look is incredibly fake, and the stain on it, which actually appears to almost be a paint, is horrible looking. The hardware is very cheap. It looks like a kid constructed it as his first project in shop class and it's definitely not worth the price paid. When I called to discuss with a sales person, they first lied and said it was "not 100 year old barn wood, but more like 50 year old barn wood." It's neither - it's all new, cheap wood. I tried to get my money back and they said I could send it back at my expense and a 50% restocking fee (which eventually they reduced to 20%). I had ordered the sink and faucet package with it, and it never came. I called and canceled the sink package since it didn't arrive. They shipped it to me the next day (I have a record of the request being sent to the shipper the next morning), charged me and closed out the order as "complete." This whole process was a nightmare. I ended up keeping the vanity because I didn't want to pay shipping and restocking fees. I took it apart, sanded it all down to the bare wood, re-stained it with a nice Minwax stain, coated it with polyurethane, and put it all back together. It now looks at least reasonably nice, albeit the horrible construction still exists.

I ordered an end table that should have been 25" tall. But it is 28 1/2" and is almost as tall as a dining table. It doesn't look like an end table and they do not respond to emails. I would never order from them again after waiting five months to get this.
