You see ad pop ups (which I detest) saying that Tom's Market is #1 in Traverse City.Personally, I believe most grocers are similarly priced to stay competitive with each other, and I get that.For the most part, I think the price of food is absolutely ridiculous! So, I guess if you are going to pay a premium price for your groceries, you should be able to expect top notch services, a clean and bright environment and service staff to match it.That's why you go to Tom's. You see, Tom's has that all day, everyday. And where your hard earned dollar is spent, should you not expect top notch a$ well?

Take the extra 5 minutes to drive to Meijer. The prices here are very very high and the customer service staff does a very poor job. Extremely rude and slow. Not sure how this place stays in business, but so glad we have other stores to go to!

They have changed a lot in the past few years.. higher prices than Walmart but it's convenient and you don't have to spend all day trying to find something.. employees have always been friendly.. clean and carry local Third Coast gluten free items

Tom's are my favorite grocery stores in Traverse City. I don't need a 20,000 sq ft store full of clothing, automotive and furniture when I'm trying to buy food! Nor do I want the crowds or over-crowded parking lots. Tom's have great sections full of northern Michigan made products, good produce, all the necessities, and wonderful staff. My only negative is for the meat and deli which I wish were larger with more selection. But I usually go to a meat market/butcher for my meat anyway, so no biggie.Highly recommend Tom's.

Awesome. Not your meijer or walmart. This place is neat and clean. Friendly faces at every turn. Aisles are so orderly that I realized what grocery stores used to be like......when people cared about their customers. Prices are proportionately reasonable; worth it!

West Bay location offering 13 aisles and full service deli, produce and meats. Customers have their choice of traditional checkout or self checkout lanes. Parking lot is busy so be careful and drive slowly.

Toms is a great place to quickly stop by and pick up some food for dinner or lunch. They have all sorts of food if you need something Toms will always have it. I would I highly recommend.

Fine if you don't mind a 80 year old ish lady that poops her pants working in the deli and who is kinda snappy. I've observed a gal eating the deli food as she was working.

Higher prices than Meijer but less walking. Very friendly staff with an amazing salad bar and a very decent bakery. Nice selection of Local TC artisans products. Good selection of oils and vinegar that you usually need to go downtown for. Fresh fruits and vegetables good selection. This is a full service store. Clean wide isles are appreciated, even with the little bit of clutter near the registers. Here they scan & bag for you. But self scan is available. I enjoy shopping here.

Good local grocery store. Location was great since it was close to where we stayed but overall I am used to a larger selection and slightly more competitive prices. They had what we needed.
