I am thankful that our Volvo dealer has a guy like Bobby who has now helped educate me more than once on my Volvo XC90 while I had it in for service! He was quick with an answer to my problem and made sure my service time waiting was minimal. I now keep his direct line phone # if I have any more questions. He is a keeper at our Volvo dealer! Bobby in Service at Serra Volvo handled our needs quickly and professionally. We may drive an extra 15 minutes for Volvo service in Traverse City, but it is worth every extra minute! Ask for Bobby!!

I've been using foreign car service managers for more than 50 years and Bobby is by far the best. Being a service manager is an Impossible job, caught as one is between the suppliers, mechanics, owners, and corporate, but Bobby navigates all the conflicts with patience, ability, and grace. He really can make things happen. Even though he knows I don't want to part with my ancient Volvo, he still gives great, respectful service for both the car and for me. He puts up with my two dogs, finds me great loaner vehicles when necessary, and manages to coax excellent work from departments that don't always give it. He's truly amazing. Enjoy him now, since if corporate is smart, he won't remain just a Volvo service advisor long.

I recently leased a Volvo wagon from Serra Volvo Cars of Traverse City. My Sales Manager was Jeff Walgrave. I have purchased and leased many cars and have never been as impressed with a sales manager as I was with Jeff. From the beginning meeting through the test drive which I had specific requests about to the financial transactions and the hour and a half familiarization with the car, Jeff never rushed the process and made it clear that he and the dealership were always available to answer questions or concerns. This was a 10 out of 10 experience with Jeff and Serra which I look forward to repeating when it is time for my next car.

I only give this dealership 1 star because I can’t give it zero. I was in a MINOR accident 6/2023. Volvo has taken over 6 months to get the parts for this car and they are still waiting for others. Who knows when I will actually get my car back. They can’t even give me a timeline. Second, the service department is still finding issues after the car has been sitting there for half a year. Void Volvo and Serra dealerships altogether unless you don’t want to see your car for months on end.
