Everyone at the Serra Suburu dealership in Traverse City Michigan are very helpful . Dani the service coordinator is always so helpful and so friendly when I take my car in for service and is very knowledgeable in that area. This is the worst Subaru service department I have utilized across the states. I’ve had three different scheduled services where they don’t have the parts and cannot complete the work. There’s no communication between the service reps and the part department nor between the reps and the customer; me! This is northern Michigan, we don’t all live just down the road.. we won’t be wasting any more of our time dealing with the poor business structure here. I’ve had better luck at Subaru petoskey or GR. Tim S has been our service rep in TC and it’s been nothing but problems and broken promises.

I have had good experience with servicing my Outback so far since I moved to Traverse City 1 year ago. I found out today that they can’t work with Progressive insurance not even to rent a vehicle for a day while servicing my vehicle. So, I will have to change my insurance now.Update Jan 2024I changed my insurance but also changed my car to a non-Subaru. and sold the Outback. I did visit Serra Subaru’s sales dept at end of Dec 2023 and test drove a new Crosstrek Wilderness which I was interested in purchasing. The sales person spent over an hour trying to locate the vehicle in their computer system. He also was not up to date on vehicle specs. All in all, I was there for 2 and a half hours and no one offered me even a bottle of water. Not impressed and it will be my last visit there.

They sold my wife a "certified" pre-owned 2022 outback, except they gave her a vehicle with dirty oil, tires that weren't properly aligned, old brake fluid, and low wiper fluid. Basically they took the keys from the previous owner and just handed them to us. Trash dealership to deal with.

Today we had a scheduled service visit at Serra Subaru in Traverse. Our 2019 Subaru Outback needed a Data Control Module replaced under our extended warranty after causing a battery drain. The part had to be ordered and we were contacted as promised when the part arrived. Thank you Dani for your attention to detail and great communication! And we loved the Valet Service and a clean vehicle for the return. Nice touch Dani and Serra Subaru!!

Dani promptly returned my call to set up a time for service and was able to schedule me within a few days of my call. On the day of service she was her smiling self and explained the issues found, the solutions and gave me an accurate cost. We discussed any other upcoming maintenance on my vehicle and she also explained the terms and deductibles on my Gold Warranty. It's always a pleasure to work with Dani!
