This past winter, on a Saturday, I was the only customer in the TC store and inquired about ordering a door which was on display -- an exact match to one that I had purchased at Northern a few years earlier. The sales rep couldn't have cared if I was alive or dead. He actually appeared to be annoyed that I had interrupted his do-nothing morning. I muttered to myself, "I will never shop here again." Today, I actually gave Northern one more chance. Another tepid, unhelpful sales rep asked me to email my shopping list, which would have taken less than 4 minutes for me to recite by phone. I hung up utterly disgusted. I called one of Northern's very friendly competitors, and my order was taken in less than 3 minutes. Less than 3 minutes for a $2000 purchase. Coincidentally, my builder mentioned that Northern botched one of his projects. Now, he's reluctant to do business there again. The staff asked him try once more. He hasn't returned. C'mon, Northern, train your front desk staff to be welcoming and helpful. It's businesses like yours that make competitors and big box stores thrive.

Horrible service. We were either dealing with the stupidest people in the country or were just flat out lied to multiple times. The employees we dealt with today told us flat out that at least two separate employees had lied to us. Avoid using them at all costs.

I stopped in to get a quote for Anderson windows, I left details for the style and sizes I needed for my house. I received numerous calls asking questions that were already answered with the note I had left. Last call was three weeks after I initially stopped in, and they were still working on getting a quote. Now its been over two months and I never did get a quote. I know they have my number and email. I guess they must have enough business and don't need mine

I've shopped at this building supply store for decades. Generally speaking, they're very helpful to both Consumers as well as Businesses. If it's not in stock, they're able to place special orders for anything you may need. Earlier this month, I walked in (with my young daughter) to pick up a special order from Bob Nixon (very helpful gentleman). Bob was out of the office, leaving me to wonder who I should speak to next. Over the next 10 seconds, I heard a male employee voice from down the office hallway ...cursing both God's name & the Name of Jesus. As a Christian, this is absolutely unacceptable to me. Unfortunately, I suggest you shop elsewhere...until this problem has been properly addressed.
