Andrew did a great job even worked Sundays to get my truck done my dad was dying of cancer and I had to get back and forth he even picked me up from my house problems started happening and he honored the warranty but then he retired the work they did was a timing chain and guides on my Ford manifolds over 5000k the new guy couldn't do that type of work so I had been told to take it to 2 different shops they both diagnosed the problem as the timing chain guides and they didn't put all the bolts in the oil pick up tube the tube that sucks the oil up its like sucking water through a straw with a hole in your lips so my engine is shot they wont honor the warranty I'm in the hole for over 15k to replace everything they offered me 1500 bucks they even told me they were responsible I recorded it if Andrew was still there this wouldn't happen even the new guy told me they should have fixed it recorded that also all I can sue for is 7000k don't take your cars there if you like warranty honored. I had to put a star so I could post this

Went in with a blinking check engine light and they got it fixed that day. The staff there is amazing and they do such a good job at getting your car back to you as soon as possible.

Called ahead of time for an issue that I was having with my vehicle to see if they were able to squeeze me in, and they told me to come on down. They had my jeep up and ready to look at within minutes, Sway came back out told me my flex pipe cracked and that it would need to be replaced. Told me it would take roughly an hour to a half hour, they had me done within the hour and charged me a really fair price for my flex pipe, and my parts are covered under warranty as well! Thanks a lot guys!

Rory and James are awesome! I’ve discussed an ideal muffler I wanted, and they set me up an appointment for the next day. I called before they started working on my car to do a completely different idea and they were kind, professional and understanding of my situation. Everytime I had a question, Rory and James explained perfectly what I was asking for and threw in a couple ideas for a very reasonable price. James worked on my car and did an outstanding job while being cautious. I highly recommend these guys and their work!!

I self diagnosed and asked for 2 ball joints. They welded my new ball joint to the control arm without consulting me or telling me so when i picked it up. Was also completely dry of any grease. I would have been more than willing to buy a new control arm had they informed me. I would much prefer a safe wheel to someones tack welds. Upon leaving my car was still pulling wild while turning same as before. So i go straight to another mechanic who shows me clear as day my subframe is cracked nearly in half. Thankfully the next guy fixed me up right and was completely baffled by the weld job MM gave me. I wouldn't come here for critical work. YOLO.

If you live or are near Traverse City, and need auto mechanical work done (no tires...but NOT just mufflers!), this is the place to go. Andrew did a lot of work to my vehicle, and not only did an AMAZING job to the last detail, but was also courteous and communicative, and VERY honest and trustworthy. And not only does everything work fantastically now, but he informed me why these may have occurred and possible ways to avoid (or extend the life of the work) going forward, as well as maintenance tips. VERY knowledgeable, highly trustworthy, I live an hour away and am going back for maintenance work on this vehicle and all going forward. Thank you, Andrew and Team Muffler Man TC!! This place is amazing! They squeezed me in the same day and had the work done in about an hour. They are honest and good people. I will bring my car back for other things. I'm happy to find a new shop!
