So I’ve been a Menards customer for over 25 years and have always liked their stores and their employees but today was simply awesome. Kevin Molby in the building materials department is a rockstar! I was designing and purchasing a $26k pole barn package today and this guy was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t say enough about the time he spent with me patiently answering questions he’s probably heard a million times, then even helping me coordinate the deliveries (there were multiple), even walking me through the checkout kiosk to make sure everything was rung up properly. Store manager - you have a gem in Kevin. I’ll never shop anywhere else for my projects from now on as long as Kevin’s still there. Thanks!

Absolutely childish "GM" to put a customer out on a absolute manufacture defect, making the customer do the work to get a return is not customer service Menards! A loyal customer with hundreds of thousands spent here instead of the other guys. Looks like loyalty gets you no where. Thanks Carrie your a real peachy as you were giggling on our way out the door. Your antics are worse the your policy.

I have been a customer of menards for many years, spending thousands of dollars there. I do a lot of online orders because traverse city store doesn't carry much. When i get my rebates via email they need to be printed. I was without a printer this past week so when i was in the store I asked if they could print it off for me. The girl at service counter had the attitude that i was bothering her. After shopping I went back and asked a guy "darren" if he could print it off. He went off on me saying if I don't have a printer then i shouldn't do online orders. And I can just go to a library to print it off.
If menards wants to treat their customers like that I will be doing business elsewhere. I will be cancelling my menards card as well.

Today my husband and I went into the Traverse city, Mi store to find gravel. We are handi cap seniors. We were lost trying to find what we wanted until a kind employie took us to the stones. Then we could not find what we needed and Micheal came past us and we asked him. He took us to the right product, figured out how much each bag cost and even put the bags in our cart! What a great and caring gentleman! Then he said for us to ask the check out person for help putting the bags (3) in our car which we did. The young nice man( I think his name is Ken) came right away and put them in our trunk. You have some very good people working for you. Thank you so much!!

They are not handicap friendly! They only have 2 scooters for the busiest Menards in northern Michigan. Those are either in use or dead. The last 4 times we've come to shop, we have had to leave and go to Home Depot. HD has 6 scooters and always has at least 3 are charged and ready to go. Menards has lost over $5,000 that we ended spending at Home Depot.

I see they have a horrible BBB page, and mixed reviews on here but I've had only positive experiences so far. I gladly drive out of the way to shop there when they have their rebate going.I go in for lumber and come out with lumber and pizza. That's pretty convenient...as long as you're not looking for health food.
