Awhile back I took a Guatemalan purse to Lois at Leathers by David and asked her to make a leather strap for it. She advised she had no leather that would work and sent me to the Goodwill (or other similar place) to find a leather belt I liked and she could use that. I did and she did. The result was beautifully stitched and quite lovely for very little money.

Very sad to arrive at their shop (after 3 tries to catch them open) to see the sign that says, "Currently not taking any new repairs." Something must be going on with them because (I've heard) usually they are super good on customer service.

We found ourselves in a huge bind, last minute during a horse show, with my daughter's show boots. Lois told us to hustle and she would try her best to get them done by closing. Not only were they done, they were perfect! Thanks to her efforts, the weekend proceeded as planned. Thank you Lois.

I came in on Monday to get my tall boots done. I came up to Michigan for finals for riding and my zipper came off and I needed my boot to be fixed ASAP. I called the store and Lois picked up and was very nice and told me she could do it. We got there and she said it will be done in an hour. She was amazing! she also did my other boot to put oil on the zipper to help it zip better. Definitely a good place to go for these things and I got this done for $15!!!

I've got one leg shorter than the other he added extra heel and soles to raise my leg length and added zippers for easier putting them on ? very happy he's fixed my other engineer Boots had them for 25 years. These will out last me ???

I took my favorite boots there for repair. My boots are 15 years old and the lace hooks were coming out. They took very good care of them and fixed them quickly. Quality work. Very good price ($14). I'll go back for sure.
