Stopped into this branch this morning to upgrade my business checking account. The branch has four employees working that I can see from the front and one customer other than me. The front teller doesn’t seem to know much about business accounts and instantly gives me information that doesn’t make any sense. Another tellers overhears it and gives me different information, then they ask the branch manager (Brenda) and she comes out and gives me conflicting information and tells me I have to call the call center and work with them because the branch is understaffed. However, there is only one other customer there besides me! Nobody in the drive thru!

They do not answer their phone. We have been a business customer since they took over for TCF Bank, and they consistently do not answer their phone. There is no way to get ahold of them.

Apparently this institution can’t handle when an account is hacked, and can’t identify fraudulent charges from hackers. Even for poor individuals like my mother who has had a serious head injury, they are taking money from them and then penalizing them hundreds on top of that for simply not remembering a statement from 5 months ago. If you value your money especially in the case of a hacked account or fraudulent charges, stay away from this institution.

I was a customer for 20 years. My payroll had a glitch in my direct deposit, so they had to cut me a check. I did mobile deposit of my payroll check. I went to check my balance, but could not log on my account. When I called Huntington to figure out what happened. They told me that my check was flagged as fraud. And my relationship was immediately severed. After much time being transferred many times, I was told the decision was final. It caused much frantic panic in my financial situation. I can't believe they didn't give me the benefit of the doubt, since I had been a customer for so many years. Good riddance!

Charging their customers double ATM fees without their knowledge! Check your statements. Huntington has been charging you EVERYTIME you use an ATM that isn't one of theirs. So on top of the ATM fee you pay at the ATM Huntington then charges you an additional $3.50 FOR EVERY ATM TRANSACTION each month. Just scheisty and skeezy!

Needing a simple task performed, I went to the East Front Street branch in Traverse City and spoke to a teller who said that only a banker (not a teller) could do it and that I should call next week to make an appointment with one. I called the next week to make an appointment, but the man who answered said that I didn't need an appointment with a banker because any teller could do what I needed. I asked whether he was sure about that, because I had been told that only a banker could do it. He said he was sure. I went to the bank the next day and spoke to a teller who said that only a banker could to it, so I made an appointment with a banker the next day. At that appointment, the banker said that any teller could do it, and she actually went to the teller herself to get it done.

I pay my rent in cash here every month for my slumlord. After three separate experiences... Staff has been nothing more then curt, suspicious, unhelpful, unfriendly, pretentious, and down right rude and unappreciative, complete with dirty looks to boot. Pretty standard for this high brow town but I would never ever consider being a customer here or doing any banking here if I wasn't forced to. They will definitely like you gobs though if your smug , wealthy, conceited and drive a brand new car expensive car ( I just have an old beat up expensive car, but you'll never be as well dressed as me, it's called style, they don't have it here). Shallow and undeveloped as human beings. Typical Michigan low level vibe. Go next door to Burritts and you'll experience the same thing. Some old people like how it is here-Get bent losers!

Whoever I was on the phone with this morning was no help. Iv been locked out of my online banking for a week and he said I have to come in for any help. I don’t have a way to get their. Why do you have a phone number if you can’t help. Tcf never did this. I was always able to access my account with a variety of verification security passwords over the phone. Ridiculous
