Would have been 4 stars (PM service on our motorhome a bit pricey). Reason for 3 stars? Couldn't leave plugged in, turned off fridge to save batteries. Rig was to be done same day. Informed me later that day that they didn't have a part, needed to keep it through the weekend. I emphasized the need to plug it in, physically open the fridge door and turn on the knob to not spoil our food or the very expensive meds. Picked up on Tues. to find the fridge was off! Lost $2700 worth of meds plus all the food!! They did a partial refund of service cost, nowhere near the cost to replace the meds, but it was better than nothing.

While driving my motorhome to the Traverse City area recently I got the dreaded “low DEF” warning on my dash. I called their Service department and, much to ny surprise, Megan asked if I could bring the motorhome in the following morning! Andrew and Moe worked diligently to find the issue, then worked with Freightliner and Cummins to get the parts overnighted to fix the problem. 600+ miles later and no issues. ?. Thanks everyone!

Most honest and knowledgeble shop in the northern MI area. Will only be using them for our repairs up north. Wish they had a mobile service! Appreciate your guys help with the air gauges. No shop could arrange them last minute, my guy would have been stuck the weekend but you guys were able to take them out of an old truck and get us rolling.

Worst service ever!!!! Walked in with no greeting, stood there for 10 minutes while parts guy was on the phone with still no acknowledgment that I was there. Got off the phone and went to get my parts.... Still didn't acknowledge I was there, or even bother to tell me he was going to get my parts. I thought he just walked off!!!!

Fuel filter cracked on our diesel motor home and was leaking fuel. We were mid trip and needed help asap. Although the shop was very busy These folks had us back on the road in no time. They were kind, helpful, and completely competent. Thanks so much Grand Traverse !

Service Department was very rude while talking with her to see about a vehicle that they are working on in their shop. Not sure that I would recommend them in the near future to anyone.

Dan and the staff at Grand Traverse Diesel have been lifesavers for us. Our company, Island Contractors, operates several commercial diesel trucks here on Bois Blanc Island. We can’t get our trucks off the island for service, which means our own crew have to perform all diagnosis and repairs ourselves. Dan has provided extraordinary technical support over the phone, as well as parts support. Our Kenworth is back on duty just today thanks to Dan’s expertise and willingness to help us via phone.

Picked up a customer's truck from this location. Very friendly staff and nice facility. Would get a 5 star but I could not drop a drive shaft because they didn't use o.e.m bolts and I had to pull all 4 axles.

Phenomenal service. Once our part came in it took about 10 minutes to fix. In the meantime, they let us stay in our motorhome on the property and provided us with 50-amp power. Thanks Grand Traverse Diesel!!

One month in to a four month tour around the country, the electronic dash on our RV went completely blank. We came to GT Diesel around 2:30 in the afternoon. With meaningful involvement from Dan the owner, the problem was diagnosed and part ordered by 5:00, and overnighted. Work took a while as the module goes under the dash - very tight space. We are just thankful to be getting back on the road 24 hours later. Freight liner did their part too, getting the warranty part to us quickly.

Vacationing in MI from VA my Frieghtliner check engine and DEF light turned on. Spoke to Dan the owner he made arrangements diagnosed my troubles same day. Parts ordered back on the road continuing vacation. I'll return in a week. I thank you and your team. Would recommend
