We started our new kitchen remodel in September 2021. Half way thru HD decides not to deal with the cabinet company we chose. Start all over. Finally got cabinets delivered in 2 deliveries….so now it’s been 3 weeks since the cabinets were finally installed and still no countertops. Told that week of installation they would be done in no more than another week. And now Friday adds another week of open cabinets just sitting there. HD is a total joke and so help me if I ever step foot in that door it will be a cold day in H-E-double hockey sticks!!! DON’T EVER DEAL WITH THE TC HOME DEPOT

First we bought a refrigerator/freezer from the Traverse City location. It began frosting up, and not starting cold. Called the TC location-on hold with so many different people. No one was helpful. Had to call Frigidaire who scheduled a local repair for me. But then I had to pay out of pocket when they came to repair it. It was a huge hassle to get paid. Bought a dishwasher a year later. It was damaged, so we had to schedule another delivery. Was put in, not draining...so had to call Frigidaire again. They scheduled through "A and E services" who were ver confused on what dates they had available. I got several texts after scheduling a date, that it was no longer available. Still waiting to have it fixed... Do not buy appliances here. Their location in TC is not helpful. Especially when it involves a repair or is under warranty. Huge hassle, wasted so much time on phone talking to some answering service who know where.... I'll go to a small local company next time

I don't know what all these negative reviews are about. This reinforces the fact that people only write reviews when they're irritated, not when they're happy. First of all, I am super grateful that there is a Home Depot an Traverse City. we have had a great experience with them on a 99% of the occasions where we have gone there or needed something or ordered something. When I call, a wonderfully pleasant woman answers and helps me out. When I go, I can always find someone to help me come out which is a pretty neat trick and given the worker shortage. While I always try to support local businesses when I can, there are times when you need the selection or the value of a Home Depot, and this location does just a good a job as any other!

Cassie and Dru in Customer Service, Michael in carpeting, random reps we've asked for help finding items, loading items, etc. have all been wonderful. We have been on a several months long project building a home. We've had multiple reasons to interact with HD customer service reps. Almost without fail we have found them to be helpful and desiring to do their best. Regardless of issue, whether our mistake or a HD issue, they have worked with us to resolve things in the quickest, easiest way. Our family has been most impressed with their customer service and their desire to be friendly even when over worked and understaffed! PLUS HD honors VETS! We will continue to shop there when possible. Janine M

My husband and I went to pick up an online order on 5/28. I got to the service desk and Michael was full of smiles and eagerness to assist. Our order of course was not up front waiting for us. He immediately apologized and went off to find it for us. He arrived with it and finished up our transaction. Michael was very polite. My husband went to load our order and I noticed that the box was ripped. I immediately took a picture and a went back in. As I got to the counter, Mi

I am SO extremely disappointed. I am in the process of remodeling my home and I’ve been using this Home Depot exclusively for all my needs. Prior to this last transaction I’ve already spend thousands with this store, and this last transaction was over $3,100! I came in and order 55 boxes of Big Bear Oak Vinyl Plank Flooring. When talking with their sales rep he informed me that they only had 51 in stock, and 3-4 of those boxes looked damaged. So he would probably be able to get me about 48 box. He would have the rest in a few days later. I told him that was no problem, paid for all 55 boxes, and said I would be back tomorrow to pick it all up. To my surprise when I came back the next day they said they had ALL 55 boxes. So great right? This is Home Depot we are talking about, not the neighborhood drug dealer. I just trusted them, and assumed they were correct in telling me this. We went to load this into my truck when they tell me that all 55 boxes weigh about 1850LBS I decided instead of over working my truck I’ll take 1/2 today, and 1/2 tomorrow. It was already loaded on 2 separate pallets anyway. The 1st day I take home 20 boxes. The second day, I get home and realize I had 28 boxes this time. 48 boxes total! JUST like the sales rep told me he was going to do. But all my paperwork says they gave me 55 boxes. These boxes of flooring are $53.87/box + tax I’ve been ripped off by Home Depot. The person I talked to on the phone was completely unhelpful and acted like he didn’t want to help me at all. I’m coming in, and I’m raising hell. Maybe yes I should have counted what they were giving me in the store. But we were outside. It was freezing, and they were all wrapped up in plastic. But again, this is Home Depot. I thought I could trust them. Guess not... Never again will I use this store! Thanks for stealing $400 from me. I really appreciate it. :(

home Depot took $1,800 of mine four days ago but declined my order. I own a snow removal business and was ordering a plow and a plow mount and now I have to wait up to three more days to get my money back that I never even spent. between buying a furnace for $4,200 and ordering a $1,800 plow, you'd think they'd want to keep a customer. they have offered no compensation. I ordered during their Black Friday sale and now it's Cyber Monday and am getting screwed over big time. my business relies on this and they don't seem to care about a potential $5,000 to $20,000 spender per year there. I know the other local stores will gladly take the money. (if they ever give it back)

My friend needed a tool to set up the table set she bought. We went here for a drill. She bought a screwdriver drill and it didn't work for her purposes. Bummer. She bought a cloth tool box, too.

So there store logo is how doers get the job done well at this home depshit nothing gets done! The store is a a mess all the time. Can never find a cart or flat bed cart to load lumber or I fact anything. Pre-ordered lumber on a Tuesday morning (@6am) it's Friday afternoon now They were suppose to get the load of lumber on Wednesday morning. Nobody calls you, nobody picks up the phone. On call attempt number 3 and holding for another 30+ min. I'm at the job site now so I can't leave and grab it because this terrible home depshit is horrible. I hate going to this location I only go because it's the closest one around and because my employer has an account with them through the pro department. Nothing pro/professional comes out of this location.

I used to love Home Depot and they got all my business. We even bought our kitchen from them. Two months ago they were not enforcing the mask law. I stopped my business. The other day I went there again, they are still serving maskless customers. There probably were 10% of the customers not wearing masks. I read the CEO was supporting this health and safety of it's customers, that is NOT the case in Traverse City. Menards is supporting the mask, a much healthier environment.
