Bought a lot of clothes there this summer. Easy to get hooked on this store!

They advertise that they have a mens section. It is barely three racks. But then they replied to me and apologized for not having mens clothing racks. They promptly changed their label to say womens clothing only. So I changed my rating to five stars.

Cool atmosphere and brand. Also very safe with all the Covid precautions, I felt safe enough to have my 2 year old running around with me here! Nice staff too

I rarely write reviews but for this experience I thought to share my review. I live in Toronto, Canada and there was a dress that I searched all over the net and finally found it in their store. I emailed them Sunday asking if they would be kind enough to ship it to Canada. Monday I had the store manager email me back and had the dress all set up and sent via UPS. The service was AMAZING. The dress arrived within a week, it was nicely wrapped and looked amazing. It was exactly what I wanted. The staff have been really good making sure I received the item on time and providing me with all the tracking info.

The promotion for Ella's in our Traverse City's guide is misleading to say the least. The promo states the wares are vintage clothing, accessories, etc. It reads as though this is their primary line of merchandise, which is why I went. After walking through the store front to back and seeing nothing vintage I asked a sales associate where the vintage clothing was etc. She directed me to a basement. What a joke. Two roll away racks with some clothing, one lonely purse hanging on the wall. Extremely disappointed. If you are looking for vintage, this isn't the place. They need to update their promo.

Beautiful selection and leaving this review as constructive criticism so it won't happen to the next person who walks in. I shopped at that store 2x during my visit to traverse city. The first time I was followed around the store being pestered by the sales associates, it made me so uncomfortable, I still spent over $470 in merchandise because they do have some beautiful pieces. I thought maybe it was me just feeling this way until I brought my husband back in the next day to try on things for himself and when we left he said " wow I would have bought more from here but the sales people made me feel so uncomfortable I just wanted to get out of there" I felt the same way AGAIN .. They follow you around, everything you pick up it's " oh isn't that nice we have that in black too" they watch you like a hawk hahah! I won't be back, I don't want to feel like that again. No one likes that, I repeat no one, it's a turn off makes you wanna run for the hills.

We've been coming to Ella's since they opened and Sadly have become disappointed. What was once a beautifully curated collection of both new quality items as well as great vintage has evolved into the sort of place where the largest size is an eight. The vintage is the same stuff that was there last summer in a dimly lit basement. Here's the saddest thing though, there used to be great service and wonderful suggestions by the staff. Yesterday we had to interrupt a mean girls conversation of staff lounging on sofas to ask a price. No thanks, I'll pass.

Excellent selection of the latest fashion trends and accessories to match. No, they will not sell the carousel that holds the sunglasses - we asked.

ELLA's in downtown Traverse City is an absolute gem. They carry many brands that I love and can't find anywhere else in the area like FRYE, CITIZENS of HUMANITY & VELVET. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and love the recommendations they make while I'm shopping. If you are in the TC area, be sure to stop at ELLA's!
