I just love this place. The clothes are always fairly priced and there’s a ton of them to pick through. There’s always some cool knick-knacks to look at as well. The store is organized and the staff is always super friendly. If you’re looking to thrift you MUST stop here!

Nice sales lady and you were able to get around the store, which is rare with smaller resale shops sometimes.

I have dealt with this store for years and never had a problem until the new owner took over. Unless you want to donate to the store don't take your items there. I took in 6 full bins of cloths some new and all in great condition cleaned and pressed. kept going in and checking and items are not there picked up a check for $12 was told if I wanted my things back I could go through the store myself so I took the time to look and came out with 3 items. They are absolutely dishonest. Donate to women's resource center or father Fred not ebb Tide!

I agree - BUYER BEWARE!!! New consigner here. I dropped off (41) items two weeks ago of which included name brand designer clothing and shoes/boots/sandals including Lucky and Chacos. Initially the owner said to just leave the items and she'd go through them. With some persuasion, she went thru the items as I waited. When I inquired about an inventory list and/or receipt she stated "once items are inventoried, in about 2 weeks, come back and get the list". I stopped in today to get "the list". The owner handed me a list showing (5) items. When I inquired as to the whereabouts of the remainder items, she recited the contract language to me "not responsible for lost or stolen items". A bit fishy---seems to indicate my items were never inventoried!! When I pushed on this discrepancy, and asked the owner to check and see if the items were possibly listed under another consigner's account---another customer who may have also dropped items off the same day---her response was "there were hundreds and hundreds of people who dropped off on the same day, and no way to check". Naturally, I was very upset. The owner then pulled out her phone/camera and began recording me (as she was smirking) while I was looking through the racks in the store for my items. I have notified the authorities who suggest a civil charge be filed. BUYER BEWARE

Hidden gem of a thrift shop. Love the deal on older items. Plus, they always seem to have nice boots!

TLDR; new owners, fresh vision, many of the same items. Let's wait and see...60% womens clothes, 20% menswear, 10% miscellaneous, 10% housewears.PROS: The new owner's youthful vision has already vastly improved the layout of the store. The cash register is now on the glass jewelry counter, "front-&-center" where it should have been. The clothing is already showing a newer trend toward more stylish items. Some of the unreasonably priced items have come down to earth. Many items had better prices overall. The entire homegoods section has seen some desperately needed improvements.CONS: The shop overall is still difficult to find if you're not already aware it exists; it's a location that requires extra signage. The cashiers are not overly attentive to the shop; and as a previous reviewer posted, I'm sure theft is a legit concern here. Additionally the new staff did not seem very welcoming and often "hid" behind a second back counter? Does the owner make them do work out of sight??? As a buyer I was disappointed to find many of the same items that have been in there for 4years+. As a consignment store, it might benefit them to research their local competition. Many consignments put time limits on how long items are allowed on the rack, only keep in season or in style items, or refuse to work with consigners who's taste in items doesn't fit their clientele. It's still not clear yet if their style and prices are going to target northern local thrift traffic, upscale TC boutique traffic, or both. It's a significant challenge for new owners to take over an established business and find their niche. I'm looking forward to see what changes they have in the works. Cautiously optimistic.
