Great until they judge you for asking for a payment plan and questioning to your face if you can care for your pets. Won't be recommending for anyone, found a much better experience with Northwoods Animal Hospital.

I’m very confident they are practicing somewhat high quality medicine, especially with the extremely competent and caring nursing staff, and perhaps limited resources, but overall disappointed in the business’s lack of compassion and empathy for a fellow veterinary professional, let alone a previous ally/ colleague/ peer or whatever you want to call it. I unfortunately won’t be back.

We received an email to rate the service provided to our 7.5 year old Old English Mastiff. We never received service for our Louie. They denied us service for him. We will not be returning. As the owner of an old very large dog who’s health and mobility is failing-the lack of compassion for our 15 minutes of tardiness was unprofessional, not companion like, and completely unthoughtful. This clinic may need to learn and feel empathy . It appears that money and time was more important than the well being of animals and their families. Loading a 170 pound immobile k9 was near impossible and took much more time than we could have imagined. Feeling sadness and loss for our beloved family dog, we needed understanding and support. This clinic provided none of this. I’m sad, disappointed and am left frustrated. We will encourage our friends and family with animals to seek care elsewhere. Animal lovers want the very best for their pets...they (animals) are family not a dollar sign!

One of the most amazing vets i’ve ever been to. They take such great care of my guinea pigs! Their passion for animal care is very evident. They sent multiple texts and pictures to keep us updated. The staff is very friendly and welcoming!

I literally cannot say enough good things about CAH, specifically Dr. Kavran, the techs and office staff. We have a number of “exotic pets” (rabbits, guinea pig, hamster, etc.), do some recuse work as well. I drive almost 2 hrs to this office for regular and emergency appointments. Dr. Kavran and her staff have provided me and our animals consistently excellent care for a wide variety of problems - sometimes simple, sometimes mysterious and complicated. She is honest, clear, and extremely dedicated to her work and I feel very lucky to have found her to care for our pets. I literally don’t know what I would do without CAH, but I know our animals’ quality of life would not be what it is. High quality care in a compassionate environment. Wish we lived closer!

Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean. The prices on the other hand are significantly higher than anywhere around town. For instance this place charges $89 for the annual Lyme preventative vac. for dogs. I called 3 other places in the area and they all charged $39 for the exact same vaccination.

Every time we've brought our gerbils to CAH they've been given nothing but the best care. I also received a hand written card from them welcoming us to their practice after our first visit. Very nice

The staff and Dr. DeSimon were so thoughtful and sweet when I brought in my hamster Bean. They never made me feel silly for bringing him in for being such a small pet. The team really went above and beyond expectations.

Dr. Lynch is a holistic Vet. and he is very knowledgeable in Chinese Herbs use and actupunture use for dogs who really need healing
