Description of Complaint:On Thursday (11/24/22) I received a call from "Patty" that I neededto make a payment. She was pleasant, and I told her I wanted tosplit the payment between 2 cards because I am not working anddo not want to overdraft my account. I gave her the informationfor both cards and when I got home to check my account, shehad accidentally taken it all out of my one account, on 1 card. Icalled and left a message immediately letting them know of theissue. The next day (11/25/22), I stopped into the office to verify ithad been changed and see what else I needed to do. The mansitting behind the desk was extremely rude! He said, "there'snothing we can do." I asked why he couldn't refund it my oneaccount and run my other card. He stated it was not possible. Isaid, "that's it? You guys mess up, and you have absolutely noanswer or resolution?" He said, "lady, would you be happy if Igave you $70 out of my pocket?". I said, "actually, sure." To whichhe said, "well, that's not going to happen."...I then asked for theowner or managers name above him or a business card and hestated he could not give it to me. When I asked "why?" he said,"I'm not going to lose my job over YOU.".. He did give mesomeone's name ( Watson), but no contact info. I was very upsetby his rude, extremely poor customer service. He then said,"Lady, you are dismissed." I said, (furious) "Dismissed?, Who in thehell are you to dismiss me?" He was speaking to me like I was aservant or some slave that he was "dismissing". He said, "you areon private property and if you don't leave I will call the cops. Thenext day, "Patty" left a message on my phone and apologized forher mistake. The fact is, I was not that upset with Patty for themistake, we are all human. It was the jerk behind the counter thattreated me as though I was nothing, after I have been a damngood customer there for approximately 15 years! The plaque onthe counter said "AL, General Manager." I NEVER had anyproblems with Kitta. Loved Her (previous employee)

I've had my unit for about 2 years and I would highly recommend this very conveniently located storage with an even better price. . . I am closing my unit out today, as I no longer need need it's services. But will definitely be back if I ever need another unit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very satisfied

I have wanted to write something about this for a LONG time. First we do not need to cut locks we have a master. This person was over 6 months behind,and owed at least $650. We have multiple ways to make payments-NO excuse. They had a bad phone # and I think a bad address as well so we couldn't contact. There are steps we HAVE to take before auctioning a unit,including mailing a letter to both primary and contacts. It is also advertised in the Record Eagle and if possible we call-multiple times to try and contact them. As far as the ashes are concerned. We had NO idea ashes were in this unit. I called the person who bought the unit per her request and they claimed they didn't find any. People know they have a unit and have monthly payment and yet never call or make a payment. We do TRY to work with people if possible,but we can't if we don't know what is going on. Medical issues,out of work,Covid etc. Office Manager 7-18-21

It's affordable. Its I e but not all fenced in at entry. But I like it. The lady that for me a unit was very nice. I tell my friends about it.

It is cheap. The woman who runs everything is nice, however, forgetful. She has attempted to charge me extra on multiple occasions due to her own bad memory.

I placed my belongings in a unit and then called to make payment arrangements instead of them calling me back thy cut my lock off and replaced it with two of there locks. This company had stolen my property and to make things worse my dad's ashes are in that storage unit. Don't rent from them if you care about your property.

Great staff , Manager showed me several sizes before i rented , fair prices and i was able to drive right up to the space , forgot to pick up a lock and they provided one free for use , cool

The woman in the office is very kind, however, Sean "the manager" is extremely rude. While unloading the contents of my vehicle into my storage unit, Sean pulled in, beat his hand against the rear window of my vehicle and came up to me, he threatened to have my vehicle towed (I had been there a few hours to organize my things in the unit), he accused me of living in my storage unit, lying to him and said that I wasn't doing storage related things & to get off the property and then told me "leave a bigger mess for him!" This man would not even let me speak! Every time I tried to tell him that I was unloading my vehicle, he cut me off! I cannot imagine who would put such an offensive and disgustingly rude man in charge, who treats his customers in such a vulgar way, but the owner should know. I did nothing to be so disrespected and am appalled at the behavior of this "manager, Sean." I am highly offended and do Not recommend this storage unit to anyone.

i have dealt with Colonial Self Storage and Granted the last recommendation was bad,I Began in late September of 2009 dealing with these folks.There was several staff changes since then and as of this date there is a wonderful office staff now who is top notch in what they do.Aside that i did suffer a break-in in September of 2011,things have improved.Auctions for units who have defaulted are more frequent and the bookings are faster.Granted i give a Good review for good service.Reason i have not given a "Very good" review is that with any small staff,there will be problems that need to be addressed (as with any company).
