Horrible service.. I was supposed to be contacted for a delivery date prior to delivery, they scheduled it without contacting me. When I noticed this I have been calling every day since the 29th to schedule a delivery. First they tell me there is a shortage of liftgate trucks ( okay I get that as its being delivered residential ) and they will call me back later that day. No call, so I call them the following morning and every morning after until this morning, they tell me the item is damaged and contacted the place I purchased. I call the Home Depot and they say their system was updated 2 minutes ago, so from the 29th of March until the 4th of April no one noticed the damage??

Horrible service, driver walked down our driveway which has tons of room for a semi. Had my wife who is 8.5 months pregnant driver her car down the driveway in the rain. Made her help him unload a box with a large vanity in it into her car, after which the rear door wouldnt close. And then would not help her get it out of the rain and into our barn. He said it was not his job and didn't want to be in the rain. So my pregnant wife had to unload the box herself to get it out of the rain. All because the driver would not help a pregnant woman. I understand it may not be his job, but delivering the product to our door is. And it's only human decency to help out a pregnant woman. All this took place while I was at work. I called their office and they said it is not their responsibility to unload into a building but to only deliver to the door. Which mind you the driver didn't even do that. Needless to say I will never be doing business with Central Transport again and would recommend against anyone working with them.

Great rates, customer service needs work however and drivers have a tendency to not show up for scheduled pickups. It wouldn’t be so bad, but they don’t inform of shipping pickup changes. I also found that a lot of their drivers simply don’t care about your cargo.

Can't get anyone to call back to schedule a time for our delivery. Got a call 9n the 16th of June from the driver and he said he would be at the hoise between 3 and 5. Never showed up never called back and now we can't get a hole of him. Called the main office and keep getting the run around. Seems to be no problem the driver falsified the records saying he could not contact us and then reported the same to hime depot. No one seems to care about that though. Highly recommended that you let home depot know you don't want your products going through this unprofessional service.

They r the slowest freight company ever. It takes them days to pick it up and more days to drop it off after its been out for delivery.

Central Transport proved to be unreliable and incompetent company. First their driver lied about being at a warehouse to pickup our shipment and put some bogus reason in their system. Then, they re-scheduled the pickup twice and both times their driver failed to show up. We cancelled any services with them and ordered the pickup from a different trucking company. Avoid theses guys if you need a service done i a timely order.

On M-72 heading west between traverse City and cedar, Thursday May 9th, 11:05 AM a driver of theirs was swerving, unable to stay on road, and made a left hand turn in front of a vehicle going full speed and forced the other driver to swerve to miss the truck trailer and myself. After this incident only two conclusions can be drawn, they have DRUNK DRIVERS or drivers who are sleepy/distracted. I for one would never hire or even go near their trucks after this. I have tried calling 5 times and they have not picked up once. The more I learn about this company the more I question their morals and values.
