5 years ago I took my car to 2 mechanics in Traverse City, I received 2 high priced estimates. I was then referred to Car Repair Inc and received a reasonable estimate. I have not went any where else since, the owner takes the time to go over everything with detail which i feel is reassuring that my vehicles are in good hands and will be fixed properly, I have never had a problem with having to take it back for something they missed and i have older cars and truck, i highly recommend them.

Brad and his crew have been more than accommodating for my wife and I. We take our F-150 and our Subaru to them, and they always produce great results! They are timely (as much as one can be with the nature of the work), HONEST, and friendly! Great business and I highly recommend choosing them!

These are the only guys in town I trust with my car, no questions asked. I don’t know a thing about cars, and that’s okay, because these guys take care of me, charge me a fair price, and always go above and beyond.

These guys are fantastic, they definitely communicate well, prices are definitely reasonable, and he's honest which is huge. Would recommend to anyone in need of great vehicle repairs.

Great place honest folks who will work with customers. I'd recommend them over any shop in TC only I live in Gaylord. Hopefully I will find a job here? If not I'll be leaving Gaylord soon ,If I can get a better place to live too.Instead of this small studio I'm in now.

I was having issues with my brake lights and rear blinkers not illuminating on my 2015 Audi. I took it to a different shop who after an hour couldn't figure out the problem. They wanted to book me for a full day to work on it. I decided to call Brad at Car Repairs instead, and he was able to find the wires that had disconnected, and fixed it in less than 5 minutes! I would recommend Car Repairs to anyone! I'll be back for sure!Service: Electrical repair

Worst car shop I’ve experienced. I brought my car in to figure out why it was stalling out. They thought it was the battery, it took them two weeks to redo my battery and brakes (because I thought it was fixed) and they charged me at least $200 more than what they should’ve. After that didn’t fix the problem - my car was still stalling out. I brought it in again and they said they were going to cover the cost since they weren’t able to actually fix the problem the first time. Three other people were around me and witnessed them say that. I mentioned that I thought the fuel or oil lines were causing the problem. It took them two weeks and they said that it was still running fine and that they couldn’t find the problem and that I could pick it up the next day. Well the next day they call me saying that it’s actually a bad fuel pump, there is no fuel pressure and now my car won’t turn on all of a sudden and it’s going to be a nearly 800$ fix. Yeah I’m aware the part is expensive but they mentioned they’d cover all the costs and now they want to charge me as much as they possibly can. The whole month it was in the shop, they called me one time, other than that I had to call them and then they’d mention what was wrong with it or what was next - very poor communication and very poor help and they simply do not care to do a good job. This place is a scam!!! Do not recommend!!! I have never been treated so poorly by a car mechanic!! All in all, I ended up towing my car to a different mechanic that was a lot more helpful and better with communicating with me.Service: Auto engine tuning
