“These guys were simply wonderful. I was t-boned in my father-in-law’s Prius by a truck on my way to Traverse City from northern Wisconsin. The Toyota dealership sent me here as they could not help me. These guys used a sledgehammer to make the car drivable while I waited. They were so quick, obliging, and friendly. They offered me coffee and didn’t even charge me. Excellent service in addition to true midwestern kindness and charm. Very impressed!”

“Excellent company to work with. I had window with broken glass my house. In a previous situation, a company I'd hired for other work indicated they could fix it for me, but that the glass in the window could not just be replaced, but the whole thing And not only that, but it would have to be special ordered. So many months later, when the window arrived (wrong size) the entire process required extensive work and a very high cost. so this time, I contacted The Glass Doctor, who assured me that they could replace the glass itself. The entire process took only a few weeks, wit excellent communication, expertise and results, at approx. a tenth of the cost by that previous contractor. I can ighly recommend The Glass Doctor.”
“After my usual body shop failed to respond to three messages left in a week, I called these folks. Gary answered and asked a few good questions. He said just to give him a heads up when I could swing my vehicle by for a look. I did so and he met me and walked out to look it over on the spot. He showed interest in what I do for a living and asked some questions there as well (unusual, but good stuff). As promised, he shot me an email quote within a day. I dropped it off on schedule and it was ready the same day he said it would be. He walked me through everything and made sure I was satisfied. My hood and fenders look like new. I then got a hand-written, personalized thank-you card snail mailed. This is the way I do business also, and it's awesome to see another small business owner here in TC who cares that much. “My situation as a whole was terrible! I was going through my insurance company to get my vehicle fixed from an accident. Gerber was great, the insurance company, not so much. Gerber was amazing through the entire process of scheduling a time to bring my truck down and even helping me with contacting the rental company down the road. I couldn't have stressed enough to them how important my vehicle is to me and they took care of it like their own. Alex was a tremendous help. She would call me every week with updates on the progress. She also answered all the ridiculous questions I had. Unfortunately, my insurance ended up totaling my truck before any actual repairs could be started. Kurt and his team put my truck back together as quickly as they could. When I picked it up after it was down there for a month it was in the same condition it was in when I dropped it off. They even cleaned my cab before I picked it up. My overall experience with Gerber was great and I recommend them to anyone needing their vehicle repaired.”

“Feeling a little guilty about giving this OUTSTANDING business 5 stars on a 0 to 5 scale, cause they deserve 10!!! Had an unfortunate collision between my rearview mirror,and a great horned owl in the Manistee Forest, they were able to save me over $1000 by replacing the glass rather than the entire mirror which they did SUPER efficiently and effectively, and with a smile! If you have an auto glass issue, do yourself a favor and contact these guys!”
