Wonderful service. John was super helpful and made picking out a suit very easy. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants great quality for the price. I will be telling my friends and family about Captains quarters and will only come here from now on. Thank you guys!

Rude as hell, wanted 490 for a simple blazer and they looked at me like I was a homeless man when I said no thank you. Then they followed me out of the store when I was walking out.

Such an incredible selection of EXCELLENT quality men's clothing. And they go out of their way to help you out. I came in from out of town with a suit (I bought somewhere else) that needed a little work. No problem! Old school service in the best possible way.

Top Notch classic haberdashery. Long time staple here in Traverse City.Been going here off and on for years and they carry some fabulous brands everything from Hart Shafter to True Grit to Johnny O. They also carry many other Classic Brands.My experience today like most others in the past was pleasant and professional. Maurie, was professional engaging and assisted me with my purchase todayI try to make a part of my trucks to Traverse City to stop in to Captain's Quarters and make some type of purchase.

Top spot in the TC area if you red a tux, wherever the occasion. I was in the area for NYE and the guys were great. Fast, efficient, to the point. I'm & out and had the tux days later and was even able to pickup a week early (don't expect this come wedding season this was their off season). But nonetheless great place to go, the best I would say.

Every year we visit Traverse City, I see this place and go in, thinking “Maybe THIS is the year I find a suit or jacket on sale.” And each visit, without fail, a man with perfectly combed hair stuffs my hopes into a locker, swiftly and in cold fashion, scoffing at me and making sure I know this is a HIGH CLASS suit shop.Who will learn first? The visitor or the men who sell suits but show no friendliness in attempting to do so?

The guy pretty much told me I couldn't afford the shoes I was looking at. "You are aware those are $399 shoes right". I walked out and am never going back.

Had an amazing experience buying my wedding suit from here. Gabby and John were very helpful, turn around time on alterations was very quick, and prices were very reasonable (I went to mens wearhouse to compare). 100% worth it to support a local business with much more knowledge and passion in comparison to nearby chains.
