Bought some of their Bangers sausages (British/Irish style chunky pork sausages). I have lived in Britain and Ireland and know exactly what butcher’s shop bangers are like. I stored them overnight in my 35F fridge and cooked them in a bean casserole. They should be pink and have no off odor. They looked a bit gray before cooking with a mile gamey odor. The taste after cooking was sour and unpleasant that ruined the casserole- they were clearly beyond fresh. Two of us ate a couple of slices. Hopefully no ill effects.

We love Burrits.....but....bought the frozen lasagna and told a person behind the counter I wanted to eat it that evening. The person pointed to the instructions on the package and said I didn't need to thaw, just heat it up in the oven since it has been cooked before freezing.Huge mistake. Is it common knowledge to thaw first and it's my fault? I don't know but clearly "just reheat" is not correct. Turned into a $50 waste of soupy lasagna. Lesson learned.

Great selection, professionally cut meats, deli section, a great FRESH seafood selection, and tons of specialty grocery items; and that's before you even get to their fantastic attached Wine Shop. 5 STARS!

This is the best place in TC to get fresh meats. The customer service here is knowledgeable and second to none in TC in terms of friendliness. I like being able to special order fish to ensure maximum quality when making sushi. The selection here is great. If you're making a charcuterie board/spread for a party, Burritt's has the best selection to choose from. They even have duck prosciutto!

Food isn’t cheap, but you’re not buying cheap food. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Cute and full of fine packaged and prepared foods, with fresh produce to boot. Next time we are here, I plan to buy something from the deli to heat up at home. All looked great.

Wowsa. This place is incredible. I can't even list all of the unique things you can buy here. But, I'll do a few: pastas(fresh and dry), BBQ and hot sauces, cheese, sausages, wine, dips, breads, crackers, etc. I could definitely spend way too much money and time in here. ?
