I feel like it is important to let people know before they spend their money at Bud’s Complete Auto about my experience. I have had my car fixed at Bud’s a couple times in the past. I had decided not to go back again because of a few reasons I won’t even go into. On Tuesday July 17th I was in a jam, my car died on me, and I needed it fixed quick. I called Bud and told him I need to be in Midland tomorrow for my business. He assured me he would get to it Wednesday morning. I had it towed to his shop. I stopped in early Wednesday and was assured it would get done by the end of the day. I was there a total of 3 times that day. By the end of the day they had only moved my car and told me it needed an alternator. I told them that was what was wrong with it when I called. Thursday again made calls and visits letting him know how important it was to get my car. Around 1pm I was promised it would be by the end of the day. I stopped at 4:45 and Bud was pulling out of the drive. Not only was NOTHING done, but he wasn’t even going to let me know. Friday again I made calls and visits, when I stopped at one point, they were all just sitting in the office. I was promised again it will be done by the end of the day. When I went to see if it was finished, I just got more excuses. He actually took me out in the garage to show me just how hard it was to fix my car. Complained about how difficult this was and said they were doing their best. I was sick not only was I losing money, but I had lost all confidence that he could actually fix my car. At this point I would have had my car towed somewhere else, but it was torn apart. He promised he would come in on Saturday and finish it. No call on Saturday, I didn’t bother stopping or calling him. I had had my fill of excuses and lies. Monday, he said he had been sick, and he probably was. My car should have been finished way before then anyway. Now I will have it by 1 he is “hoping.” A competent mechanic shouldn’t have to hope. At 1 it was 30 mins, then another 30 mins. I finally got my car around 3. Took off and tried to just put the whole ordeal in the past. Lost more money for not having my car than the extremely ridiculous $1,146.00 he charged. The internet says the job should be approximately 2 hours and $600.00. I just decided to forget about the whole thing. I would not even be writing this had my car not broke down 24 hours later. Bud gave me another one of his worthless promises that he would pick up my car in the morning. After denying my problem had anything to do with their repair. Morning came, I got no response to my 2 calls and my 2 text messages. I decided it would be foolish to let him get my car again. I took it someplace else. They found HIS mistake and fixed it for free. Also found a few other things that were not put back together correctly. Bud texted around 2pm, I let him know a real mechanic had already fixed it. I have always liked Bud, but he has NO ability to staff his business and is not competent to fix, at least my car himself. He had no business accepting a job he couldn’t complete. He doesn’t care, he doesn’t communicate, and his word means NOTHING. If you care about your car and don’t want to get lied to and ripped of stay away from Bud’s Complete Auto.

Worst auto repair place that you could possibly go to. Communications skills are at the same level as he ability to repair a vehicle...Non-existent. He has demonstrated that he is as poor of an excuse as a human as he is a poor excuse as a business owner a he is a poor excuse of a mechanic. He had no clue what he was doing and took a week to show it while we had to miss out on our business and lost far more than the cost of the repair. We lost so much more than the $1200 it cost us to have a vehicle that does not run. It has been towed to another shop where we have some confidence that the issue will be found and completed.

If you're like me and want to deal with decent human beings do not go here!!!(I found a better place Buddys Full Auto repair in Grawn!!Steve took good care of me and didn't rip me off!)Long story short buds complete Auto & truck repair has many issues!Let's just say $422 to change a battery and a week's time frame is very poor service!!Bud's biggest problem is lack of communication mixed with excuses and lies.....Had he been honest with me in the beginning that he is limited on mechanics and is overloaded with business... I probably would have worked with him......But him being desperate to make money off of me being so vulnerable at the time is just plain sad!

Had an employee take their car in to get a little brake work done. I gave them a ride while they waited, 1 month later still not fixed, still charged and still had to take it to another repair shop. Still thinking of using buds??!!

Buds was horrible! Took my jeep in before Christmas last year to get the 4wd serviced as there had been some hard junking on the driveshaft and informed them that seemed the case. They skipped the transfer case, differential, driveshaft and bearing, and instead replaced the front cv axles. Now, I had suspected that the issue wasn't resolved as the clunk went down just a bit but was still present.Driveshaft broke off the transfer case a month ago, I called he said go in Wednesday. Went in Wednesday he said make an appt for Monday. So instead of righting their misdiagnosis and shoddy patch job, I got the run around again. This place is the Worst! Jeep has no driveshaft now, 4wd is still locked partially on back axles, and the transfer case slipping every which way.

My car has broken down two times for completely different reasons now and both times I took them to buds. The first time I had a fairly decent experience with them, a bit pricey, but still did decent work. The second time I had lost power to my throttle, and when they ran the electrical scan it showed low voltage and they told me it could be the battery. So I got a new battery, and had it delivered to them. It took them a week and a few days to get the battery installed, and I still haven't heard anything about whether my car is in working condition again. I keep calling them throughout the day, however they don't pick up the phone rarely often. It's getting irritating as I need that car for work and I told them I needed it done ASAP. I would recommend going elsewhere for your vehicle work. This place is not worth it.

No integrity, poor communication, and poor repair skills. I took my truck in for rear end noise. I was informed the rear end needed to be rebuilt. After several weeks and many missed dead lines I was informed it was ready. I didn't make it 5 miles and the rear end sounded worse than it did before I took it in and was now leaking badly. I brought the truck back and again after several missed deadlines and poor communication they claimed the truck was ready. The rear end was still making noise like it did. I had to take it to another shop and they found it to be improperly installed. The rear end had to be rebuilt again.

Buds comeplete what a joke. Buds had my icecream truck since April 16 to reinstall the intake exhaust manifold and to work on my taillights and put roof lights on.afyer 5 deadlines missed and a couple of calls no progress. Today I left a nasty voice mail and was called back and was told he was not doing any more work on my truck and to pay my **** and get my truck off the property. I went and paid my **** and attempted to drive my truck back to my house which was only 1 1/2 miles from buds. The truck had a rattle and could not get up any speed if I tried to faster it backfired and sputtered and quit. This happened 5 times it took over 1/2 hour to get home They had the taillights unhooked so I had to have my roommate follow me. He heard it backfire a couple of times. I would not have buds put air in my tires and I would not recommend them

Bud is an awesome guy! He really works with you when you need help and the price is fair. He also has one of the best mechanics I know and his name is L.A. he's pretty young but very knowledgeable. Love this place ❤

“Complete” is obviously just a name. A simple alternator replacement took over a month and somehow it works worse than when I brought it in. I have to jump start it every time I want to go anywhere and it doesn’t even run at the correct voltage anymore. New battery didn’t fix it and I dont want to even try to get it fixed here again because I might never be able to drive it at this pointService: Electrical
