edit: WOW!! okay, first of all, i am impressed that if there is a problem, the managers are on it. they will call you personally to get it resolved if there is an issue. now THATS how you run a business. the guy i had dealt with was new and still in training, i am not upset with him at all, he was doing the best he could with what he knew. mistakes were made and now resolved. bless this shop for calling me personally to resolve this.

paid $95 for a diagnosis on my check engine code which i never asked for. i had explicitly told them just to run the code, as my receipt even states. website has “check engine code” under their always free tab so, yeah, i was a little more than surprised when i got my bill.

Took my car in for brakes and rotors. Quoted $1000 because the calipers also had to be done. False. I had them double check with the mechanic and they came back and said that they refused to do the work without the calipers. Took it to my normal guy. $500. Calipers work fine. SCAM AND RIPP OFF

I've been here several times have my oil changed and tires rotated. I have my tire rotated every oil change. This time they argued with me and told me I didn't and gave me a bill for $195 almost. When the bill usually is $136. I guess Sierra bought out Bill Maher. I will not be coming back there to get my work done on my vehicle. And my wife will not be coming back there either for her vehicle.

My breaks decided to go suddenly, while we were on vacation in Glen Arbor. Not only was this place able to get me in immediately, they even arranged a rental car for me. The staff could not have possibly been more friendly, more empathetic, or more professional. I highly highly recommend. This is a place, that does care for the customer. Bravo!

Do NOT bring your vehicle to Brakes & Alignment Plus
Recently, I was having an issue with my Grand Marquis. Minor coolant leak I caught when the thermostat was not reading correctly. I replaced the thermostat myself, torqued the 2 bolts down to spec. (18 ft-lbs.), and refilled the coolant to find the leak. It was the intake manifold (common problem on this model). I brought my car to Brakes & Alignment Plus to have them quote a repair. They confirmed the intake manifold needs a new gasket. I authorized the repair for $600 along with recommended rear shocks for another $300. Later they called me that the entire intake manifold needs replacement too because the bolts are all seized and will need to be cut off for another $600. I authorized it, but it became apparent they lied when I asked to see the old intake manifold at completion. They cut the bolts for the thermostat housing that I had out two weeks ago, not the intake manifold bolts. Brigit was very condescending when I was asking questions about my vehicle too. I have spent $5k at this shop in the last year. Do yourself a BIG favor, save your hard earned money, and bring your car somewhere else.

I can’t express what a wonderful customer experience I had. We had a Ford dealership try to keep it overnight and upsell us. Johnny and Bridget had me out of there in 20 minutes with no upsold parts. Our car will never go anywhere else!!!

Exceptional in every way! I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to share my incredible experience with brake and all gnment plus. I was desperate as my brakes failed in traverse city and I was leaving for a trip the following day and also live in Frankfort and had to get back . From the moment I spoke to the shop they were worried I wasn’t safe to drive and fit me in! In less than two hours for a very reasonable price they fixed everything!! Everyone there was so professional and kind!!!!highly recommend!!!!

They were very clear about everything and talked to me before confirming the fixing of the car. Not sure if it is too much to pay for though, or if my car is just old? Either way I highly recommend them, they are usually very speedy too.
