Owned by an evil woman. Buy your art somewhere else. Warning to artists too --she'll rip you off and disrespect you, both behind your back, as well as to your face, when she flips on a dime. There are better galleries to give energy to here in traverse city.

Right before Christmas my dear friend and I went shopping. I knew I wanted to go to a gallery for my daughter's. I had not been to the Art & Soul Gallery. My friend suggested it and off we went. First reaction......Beautiful, eclectic, great space and wonderful pieces everywhere you looked. Amy couldn't have been more pleasant and fun! I was able to do all of my shopping in this fun and unique gallery! Keep up the good work, we will be in again shortly and we will spread the word!

The owner is beyond amazing! She treated my three kiddos with such grace and patience. I love that they disclose that they don’t want pictures. I get it that people want to reproduce items, that is what Pinterest is for. When you go to a gallery, you are previewing the artist’s talent and skill. The time and energy that is placed into each piece is worth the price. I will definitely come back!

The lady working was extremely rude and disrespectful. Yelled and cussed at a customer.

Amy has an eye for all things beautiful and functional! This gallery has something for everyone. Such a diverse and ever-changing collection of items. It is always a pleasure to visit this gallery and see what's new and exciting in the store!

Rude, rude and rude!!! Terrible customer service. I was there on the Thursday before Memorial Day looking for artwork for an anniversary. The woman behind the counter did not acknowledge anyone entering or leaving even though she was doing absolutely nothing sitting behind the counter. I looked at several pieces and she never offered any assistance. I found similar pieces elsewhere at far less $$$ and zero poor attitude. This place must cater to unknowing tourists who would never return because they obviously do not care about being pleasant to customers. Hopefully, my next visit to Traverse City will find this place out of business.

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Same artwork can be found elsewhere in and around Traverse City for A LOT less $$$ and the ownership/staff are rude.

Very Disappointed! My Husband and I were in Traverse City this past Sunday for our Anniversary. We always stop in to this Gallery. We have bought several art pieces over the Years. My Husband ordered some Food at The U and I Lounge and I told him I would be back in a few minutes, hoping to buy him something special for our Anniversary. The Time was 3:45Pm on Sunday. I Found the perfect Painting of Fish Town in the Window. There was a chain up in the entry way with a sign to go to the Toy Store for Help. I immediately went there and I ask if I could purchase the piece and I was Denied. She said it was after 4:00 and told me to come back tomorrow. I looked at my Phone and the Time was 3:48 and I explained we were Heading back to Rockford. She completely waved me off and Walked away. I have left 2 Messages, even Leaving my Phone #. I would like an Explanation and A Reason for such Rudeness. Robin Butzer

I've never been to an art gallery that wouldn't disclose the artist. The artists deserves credit and she is depriving them of that. Incredibly rude. Please don't support.

I have never been so disrespected as a customer in my entire life. I can only describe the owner's interaction with myself and my family as rude, unapologetic, paranoid, appalling, and dramatic. It began with a harmless mistake on our part of not noticing a sign within the first 15 seconds of walking into the gallery. This resulted in the owner making a humiliating (only for them) public display that cleared their entire gallery of customers.
I have been a lover of the arts all my life and a collector and artist myself as are many of my family members. I am so thankful for that, because if this had been my first experience in an art gallery I might never step foot in an art gallery again.

I will not go into, nor support this gallery again despite displays of beautiful artistic talent. The owner was brash and rude one moment, and then overly sicky sweet and un-genuine the next when a new customer walked in. I've been in many art galleries and met many gallery hosts - none of whom presented with such an overly high opinion of themselves and disregard for general customer care/kindness.
