Disappointing, from a Mountain Biking Standpoint.
Much of the trail listed as Crystal Lake’s is undeveloped/service roads, and half of the black diamond trail is literally just a dirt road. Green trails are bland. Pistachio is a fun trail but it’s not worth the climb if the lift service isn’t on during the summer. Several better trail systems within an hour of here for MTB.

The young lady that answers the phone at the pool area is beyond rude. I'll be calling upper management. Honestly rude is mild for how she was on the phone. And I simply asked about time and details of the pool. But I'm old and should use the internet. Her words.

Crystal mountain was beautiful! The gardens were immaculately maintained. Golfing, cornhole, rooftop bar! Wow, I did get a chance to have spa services. Pedicure and Massage. I’m not sure if I’d go back for that. The service were mediocre at best. The Spa on the other hand was beautiful and I really enjoyed the shower and eucalyptus steamer!
Lastly, don’t plan getting any vegan/healthier foods. They have just a couple of places to eat at the resort and, I was hungry and not impressed with the food choices. I would recommend just getting a room with a kitchen or dining out at other spot. Great place to chill just needs some services worked on.

This is always our first golf trip of the year. Great accommodations and the two golf courses were in awesome shape for the beginning of the golf season.

We had a room there for a company trip. And the room in Pine Hurst was nice enough, BUT if u plan on sleeping in, think again. Well, at least room 421, ski lite right above the bed every morning lights the room up, no sleeping in at all. Recommend maybe tint or a blind with a long rope. Otherwise, we had a good time. Enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Restaurants were quite pricy on property. Ordered pizza and had it delivered that was decent. Overall, we had a good time. We ventured out to Frankfort and enjoyed the day.

Wonderful resort. Great golfing. Nice splash pad. Expensive grocery on site. Nice water park for kids. Great ice cream stand!
