The lady who became a manager is very rude. Their prices are pretty high in a lot of stuff and it seems like their freezers have problems cause a lot of the chicken. The bags were swollen up.

Small town grocery store, good for quick items you need and don't want to drive far, prices are high compared to larger places like Kroger

It's better than the Toledo location, but they take advantage of their location to charge a premium on goods.

Old lady, that became the new manner, is the rudest person I've met in a long time. Not professional at all. Secondly, prices are very high. Do not shop here if you are trying to save. They have problems with the freezers so alot of the stuff on the shelves had been moved around multiple times. Thawed, frozen, Thawed, frozen.

Terrible disrespectful workers who are obviously unhappy with their life and job and take it out on customers. Lori had an awful attitude and discriminated against bottle return customers! Will not come back ever again.

I stopped in on my way from out of town last Saturday 6 pm. A friend of mine had told me she always stops at Foodtown for fried chicken and it’s absolutely delicious.
I went to the back to pick up some fried chicken for dinner but everything was closed up. An employee asked me if I wanted a whole chicken or just chicken strips, all of which were prepackaged in cardboard boxes behind the counter. I wanted a whole chicken and she handed me a cardboard box already sealed with several price stickers stuck on. At the register I was charged by individual pieces, thigh $1.49, breast $4.98 leg $2.98.
When I got home and opened the box, I was upset & disappointed, we were anticipating a great dinner, but this did not look anything close to delicious. The chicken was overcooked, & the skin definitely not crispy. Some pieces so dry & tough you couldn’t chew them.
If I didn’t live so far away, I would’ve driven back but I already wasted $10 on the chicken. There was no sense in wasting more money driving back to return it.
Not sure what the store policy is, regarding the use of cardboard boxes for packaging hot food, but if I’m ever in that situation again, I will ask the employee to open the box so I can see the condition of what’s in it before I leave the store.
Lesson learned.
