Good place in general, but if you sat and watched their required safety video a while ago, they make you do it all over again now that they have a new computer based system. They should just transfer/grandfather the previous people over instead of sending them through the trouble again. Also, they temporarily take your license while you are on their range shooting your firearms. I've seen other places do this if you rent firearms, but not if you bring your own. Questionable. Other than the above, they are okay.
If they want to ensure safety, then I'd suggest a quick two or three minute review for people who already watched the video instead of watching the whole thing again. People might not want to walk in and get surprised by a 10-20 minute video-especially if they don't have a lot of time and/or people are with them.

I will never do business with Recoil Firearms!
I was in the store for approximately 6 minutes looking at handguns and waiting to be assisted.
One employee was helping some young men who were looking at bb guns. The employee actually turned to me and said hello. I have nothing negative to say about him, because he was assisting customers and acknowledged my existence!
Two other older white Recoil Firearms employees stood at the counter chatting despite me waiting to be assisted. A white couple walked in with their 3 children.
In less than a minute, the older white female Recoil Firearms employee who was at the counter walked by me, and asked the white couple if they needed assistance. The employee knew that I was in the store before the white couple. I turned to the white couple and told them that it is amazing that I was in the store for about 6 minute, and that the employee left the counter to assist them knowing I was there first.
The couple apologized to me (not their fault), the husband told the employee that I was in the store before them. The employee did not utter one word, I thanked the couple and walked out of Recoil Firearms.
I am a black man and can't speak on how Recoil Firearms treats other minorities, but I can say that as a black man, I experienced racism and was discriminated against by Recoil Firearms employees. To write this review, I was forced to give a star value, but I wish I could post my review giving zero stars!
They should change the company name to “Racists Firearms”!!! Too many reviews like this, so it’s apparent that the owner condones Racism and is a part of the problem!
--------
I don't see a way to respond to you owner other than on my review.
[You are the one being "ridiculous" and "deceitful" for acting like you aren't aware of multiple reviews accusing the same two employees of being racists. YOU are acting like it's an isolated incident when it's a chronic problem! You haven't done anything about the problem thus far, so why should anyone be foolish and think you will look into the problem that you already know exist.
If you want to speak about it on the phone then respond call me!]

My first experience here was to buy a range membership that was on sale for fathers day in 2023. The woman that helped me, was just angry and gave me the impression it was inconvenient that I was only buying a membership and nothing else. She looked at me like I was a complete disappointment to her. But I wrote it off as maybe a bad day. Flash forward to last weekend. I went in looking for a new gun or two. A man helped me, but the same woman stalked us from behind, like I was going to steal something or I was up to no good. I made a purchase and had a small delay which led into the next week. I called on Monday just to check on it, because I was in the area and thought I'd finish the sale if it was ready. A man answered, said he'd check on it. The woman picked up the phone and was again rude and gruff. As if I was bothering her by checking on it. I completed my purchase on Tuesday. Magically, the gun listed at $489 was now $589. I started to complain but saw I was gonna get nowhere. So I paid the price, (still the MSRP price), and left.
I'll never shop or shoot there again. The woman is completely rude to everyone. One of the clerks was showing a weapon to a novice on Saturday. The customer was waving it around and pointing it at people, including the clerk, and nobody made any attempt to stop or correct the actions. Some of my coworkers have shopped here abd said the customer service has gone completely downhill. I know I won't return or recommend the shop.
In response to the reply, no, we never came and shot after buying the range time. A place opened closer to home, and we went there. As far as the price, I'm not upset over it. But I'm pretty sure that the tag attached to it said $489. Because I distinctly recall thinking, it's only $60 more than the similar one next to it. I don't mind paying retail, but I think it was mistagged.

Limited selection, and to be quite curt, the people that run this place are a bit dim. Having interacted with probably hundreds of FFLs, sellers, manufacturers, importers, etcetera, I gotta say the ignorance this company in specific brings to the table is impressive. When someone acts the way these people do it hurts not only the industry, but the community, both the gun community and the local community. It'd be best for everyone involved if you shut the doors before an IOI finds out what you've been up to.
