“The staff here were so friendly and kind. I am on a medication that has been out of stock and on back order for a while and had been unable to fill through Express Scripts. I called this CVS and the pharmacist, Zayna, offered to add me to the waitlist for when the medication became available again. Well, this afternoon I got a text that it was ready and was finally able to get my medication! I know the store doesn’t have any control over when the shipments come in from the manufacturer but I still really appreciate her going above and beyond to put me on the waitlist since it helped to me get my medication, which has truly made my day! ?”
“This pharmacy and its pharmacists have taken such good care of me that I have to share this. About 10 years ago when the opioid epidemic had pharmacists too scared to prescribe narcotics, I agitated a bulging disk and ended up in agony. No one would risk filling the script! Nowhere! I walked in to Menard, talked to the pharmacist and he told me, "If your doctor is legit, you will NEVER have a problem with me." And he kept his word. I NEVER HAD AN ISSUE.Since then, I moved too far away to stay with him. But today 3-28-24 I needed glucose strips for a no code monitor and couldn't find any pharmacy inside 20 miles that carried them. I Called Menard...OF COURSE they had what I needed! Same pharmacist, same building. It is a shame he didn't remember me because I NEVER forgot him. If you like being treated with real human decency, you owe it to your self to try this pharmacy. I'd send my own mother there. If it wasn't 40 miles away now, I never would have left.”

My mom was sick and out of driving range for deliveries and Sam delivered anyway. They go out of their way to help. Makes you feel like family. Thank you.”
“Got both doses of my covid vaccination here. The process was incredibly easy, and I would have been in and out in 2 minutes, had the pharmacist not advised me to stick around for 15 or so minutes (so she could provide medical treatment if I were to have a bad reaction).The pharmacist that administered the vaccine was also extremely knowledgeable. She answered all of my vaccine related questions from memory and really knows her stuff.Excellent service and the staff clearly cares about their patients!”

“This would have to been 5 stars except the food was the absolute worst. I can eat just about anything that is thrown at me, but who ever has the kitchen contract needs to be replaced. The head of the food service should be forced to eat the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn or the chicken rice soup. Gag worthy at best. Staff is 100%.”

“I've only just begun to shop here. I have always used the Garden City wallgreen on Merriman & Ford rd. However this was convenient and I figured why not ? I recently dropped off 2 prescriptions to be filled. I have been using CVS for the last year or so, and it's night & day dealing with wallgreen Vs CVS ..Wallgreen called my father to see how the new medicine was working for him? This was a Nice surprise. Although it would have been nicer to get the call with the information that they gave him about the medicine, as he began taking it. This would have answered a lot of questions for us had we known these things.However we don't have all his medication with wallgreen either so maybe this is why ? Either way I think I will be switching up pharmacies ASAP and this way I know there looking at all of his scripts the interactions ect...”

“Following the renovation this store now carries a huge selection of goods. It has a wonderful produce section, deli, and fresh seafood section which I shop several rimes a week. They carry lots of organic selections as well throughout the store. It also has a bank and pharmacy. My only complaint is that since the renovation I still have problems finding some items. Hours are 7am to midnight. I find that the best selection is available early in the day. This store is very popular and the parking lot is usually full from about 1pm to 7 or 8 pm.”

“After encountering no mailing envelopes at a nearby Dollar Tree, I visited this Walmart Supercenter which was pleasant to see. Its location was tucked not far from Detroit Industrial Expressway out of sight; and its exterior design appeared like any other Walmart location. Maynard James Keenan (American singer) once quoted - "People have to follow their hearts, and if their hearts lead them to Wal-Mart, so be it." As an Illinoian who loves Big Ten college football, I loved the numerous Michigan Wolverine fan apparel stocked. If not for the unbearable prices, I would have likely purchased either a Michigan Wolverines or maybe even a Detroit Tigers t-shirt to take back with me to Chicago Illinois. Walmart ended up having the type of mailing envelopes I needed, plus more! I was shocked at the variety of bubble mailers stocked on shelf. Likely, I will make off-and-on trips to our Walmart in Chicago to purchase mailers since I am an avid shipper whether it be off of Poshmark or eBay. Another one of my purchases was a fleece since I had tossed my lightweight jacket during the Detroit Free Press Marathon. After seemingly an endless search through both the men's and women's sections I settled for a zip-up fleece jacket by George to wear on flight back to Chicago. Though I would have preferred black, it was the comfortable appearance that made it acceptable for me. Other than leaving this Walmart with a new desire to visit for mailing envelopes, I left in realization that even with self-checkout it does not help the checkout experience go faster because those machines are just not reliable. “Lucas helped to provide the best customer service to me , at the photo counter. I was a little disappointed in the original outcome of my pictures but Lucas saved the day, by helping me to fix my photos . I am very grateful for such a pleasant visit ..

“There's nothing to really rave on a out here, it runs surprisingly well considering Taylor Meijer is quite a show... I don't ever have any issues with the pharmacy technicians and they are helpful. I almost didn't give 5 stars but that would've been unfair as I loath the main building they are in.... the pharmacy staff is swell though”
