“I have never had Basturma. To be honest I've never heard of Basturma. But while I'm Michigan I had to visit this deli due to many of my friends and families advice. So we went. We looked around for a few minutes and a friend asked the butcher to try some Basturma. He immediately obliged. Grabbed the red log of meat and let us all try it. It's good.It's a cured and salted beef seasoned with Çemen. Çemen is a made from a paste of ground fenugreek seeds, chili powder and mashed garlic. Some people described it as a salty taste but to me it had a kind of spicy black pepper taste. You should try it as soon as you can.They had other meats there and freezers full of treats and drinks. I don't know if who we dealt with was the owner or not but he knew what was talking about and had a moustache that would incite jealousy. If you live in the area visit this place immediately. If not, it's worth the trip.I also felt like it was really clean. They also had tables with flowers so you can eat and relax.Parking was adequate and we had no wait times while we were there. We were serviced immediately with joy.”

They sell Blazos pies here which earns them five stars off the top! These pies are some of the best I've had, also reasonably priced. They also sell the best beef sticks behind the meat counter.
Their selection of fudge, meats, and Michigan made treats was vast. It's a quaint little shop with lots of goodies that you can't find anywhere else. This will definitely be somewhere I shop frequently now, I only regret that I didn't go in sooner! Also the employees are extremely friendly which is very nice to see in this day and age. Five stars!”

“Super clean and bright. The lady behind the counter was cute and super friendly. The store is kept nice, the parking lot is a bit messy, but I don't imagine you can keep up around there. Easy parking and easy in and out. They have a bit of everything and will make you feel like a family friend. A+ on everything. Awesome management.”

“Ham is excellent. But I guess the people making fresh sandwiches at the deli counter didn't feel taking my or addressing me today after a 20 minute wait to get a sandwich I didn't get. Just paid for the great glazed ham. No one was in line at the time when I tried to place a order for a sandwich. Guess I just buy my glazed hams here. No fresh sandwiches for me.”

“We've been going to Jim's for about 5 years now - it is the BEST place to get whatever cuts you're looking for. Need a few filet steaks? Just ask Jim and he will cut up a full loin to whatever you want. Brisket? Just ask and he'll get what you need. In a hurry for dinner, grab a couple stuffed pork chops. Great groceries and wine/liquor as well. My daughter begs to go there - because she always knows a good dinner will soon be hers!”
“We love Wisbiskis rope sausage but now have to travel to get it. We moved to Genesee County and I haven't been able to find it out here. We travel back to Oakland County to get it. I wish I could find it closer to home. It's over an hour drive now to buy it. It's the best we've ever had so that's why we go back to our old neighborhood to get it. ?”

“Middle eastern grocery store with many item varieties, fresh vegetables, meat, & poultry. Also has limited selection of sandwiches. Many more grocery items & kitchens utensils have been added recently. Restrooms at this place are not healthy. we were not happy with the quality of some of the items during our latest visit. Now they have 4.5 gal container of olive oil that was of good quality.”
