Great dog training classes and worth the money! After just the first class of basic training, my 2 year old dog had done a 180. Before we couldn't even take her for walks because she always pulled and was distracted by everything. After just one session, she has stopped pulling on the leash, heels, sits, and listens to commands. You have to do the homework with the dog between classes of course, but highly recommend!

The best training facility around for civilian or service dogs. Trainer Judy isn't too bad either. Lol

I signed up for puppy training classes, and I have learned a lot. It is a structured class with no nonsense training. I will be signing up for the obedience classes when my dog reaches the correct age.

They helped me train myself and my German Shepherd Scout. Everyone was very professional and patient.

I didn't have a great experience here. They only use old school training methods like choke collars (proven by multiple studies to not work/discouraged officially by the AVSAB) and denigrate positive reinforcement training. They tried to tell me with a straight face that harnesses cause more damage than a choke collar because a dog's chest is weaker than their trachea. Their method for teaching a dog to "leave it" involved forcefully yanking a dog by the back of their neck. They called my dog aggressive and fearful when the owner shoved her hand in my dog's face and it backed away. Honestly the trainer I had was downright rude when I came into puppy class with a dog who already had the basic commands down when I managed it without the heavy-handed method they preached. The only reason it is two stars instead of one is because I got two decent pointers during the sessions.

Trainers are good, nice and friendly. Owner was rude on the phone and rude in person, acted like I was lying about my dog's age. Besides that, good.

I got my German Shepherd at six months old and at one year I couldn’t take her anymore and was ready to give up on her until I found out about canine academy. I figured this would be her last chance and I wasn’t very hopeful but after the four week obedience course I have a whole new perspective on my shepherd and the abilities of the trainers. I have a new bond with my puppy and We are advancing to the intermediate class where I know she will excel. I cannot thank the trainers enough and highly recommend this class to everyone who wants to bond with their dog and have amazing results.

We just had our first session on Tuesday and I am already seeing amazing results with my dog. We were much more successful on our walks in the past two days than we were prior to the class. I say "we" because this is as much about breaking my bad habits as it is his. In the structure and very clear direction given by the instructors, you can see they want the dogs and their owners to succeed. I am grateful that I found this program!

Judy is extremely rude, and I'm unsure if it was just me or if I caught her on a bad day. I called to inquire about her puppy training based on her supposedly good reviews. When she contacted me, she didn't greet herself properly and called as if I was bothering her. As someone who works in public relations and with a business, anytime a customer reaches out to me inquiring about services, I always have a pleasant voice and make sure that person understands that I want their business. Even if Judy could not provide the services right away, her disposition was disappointing. I would never do business with her based on a 1-minute phone call. You need to do better in the customer service department.

Judy and her husband are extremely unprofessional! I’m a disabled vet. I had a huge sewage backup in my basement so had to reschedule training twice because of the severity. In the process of moving things out of the basement I subsequently broke my elbow and humerus as well as sprained my wrist. We had a confirmed appointment for 10/19. I was sent a message on messenger to see if it was still a go. The message was sent as I was at my Ortho appointment getting care for my broken arm. I apparently didn’t respond back quick enough because when I went to respond I was blocked on messenger. What kind of business does this?? So unprofessional! Not a phone call or an explanation. Just blocked like they’re 12! Terrible customer service and terrible business practices! DoNOT use them.

I thought they were very good with the dogs, also with us and training us to work with our dogs. Even if we didn't get it write the first time they would stick with us until we got it or physically show us. This place in my opinion couldn't be better also because they just won't take your money. To advance your dog to the next class but they do have a in between class to build your dog's confidence which is half the cost. I would recommend this K9 Academy to anyone having trouble with their dog.Judy is the Owner along with her Husband so if you have any questions don't hesitate to call and leave a message.Thank you.Logan M.

Took a basic class with our 9 month German Shepherd. Great instructors and was very happy with the results.
