I placed an online order last night for more of the corkboards I had previously purchased in-store with a coupon that was going to expire the next day. It was for 25 percent off your online pick up in store order.I arrived and both the boards that Nyla handed me were damaged. I asked her if there was anymore and she said no. I said I'd like to return them since they were broken. Nyla started making audible noises and sighing like I was annoying her. When we went to the register to start the return, I asked her if they could ship two boards to me or to the store and she said no but suggested I drive to the Allen Park location since they couldn't be shipped. She asked for my number, name, and email address that was already on the paperwork but acted disgruntled the entire time. There was a fellow customer that came up to the register to ask where the publication books were and she gave her attitude as well and had a tone with her when the customer was confused as to where she was pointing.I'm frustrated because not only was the service poor, coming from someone who also works in retail, but Nyla said they couldn't be shipped. I've just gotten home, I checked the Joann website again and they're available for shipping.Nyla should not be working the front of store if she's going to have an attitude and mislead customers as I've lost my coupon and drove to the location for nothing when she could have actually helped me.

If you want to go there, clear your schedule for the day. I waited for 30 minutes while the two people at the fabric counter waited on the same people. No one came to help, one of the workers was just talking nonstop as a huge line formed. I finally just left. I know the world is short staffed, but at least provide service by acknowledging those who are there. I was never so much as greeted or told sorry for the wait.

I have shopped here for years. They have fabric for everything. Patterns, sewing machines and even classes to learn how to sew.
