Awesome meat prices buying in bulk saves $'s bought a slab of new york strip and had it sliced at 3/4" and 1/4 trim and it produced 20 steaks for 5.99 a lb it was 75-80 dollars...

October 16th I made a stop at one of my favorite meat shops cattleman's meat never had an issue until today I always buy one of the bundles however today they sold me hamburger that was going bad when called to speak to the manager there he in turn tried to explain me oxidation of meat and it's fine it's not fine because I was not paying for discounted meat any other meat department store would have put this in the markdown section instead it was at the bottom of my box where I opened it up to put in freezer bags only to discover that there's browning all through the meat I can overlook this once incident however I do recommend that from now on everyone that shops at cattleman's meat pay attention to the dates in your bundles not a good look cattleman not a good look.
