“I much prefer coming to this Dollar Tree instead of the one that's almost within walking distance of my house. I have to take two buses to get here and that's really hard because I'm disabled but I don't like the Dollar Tree on Dort/Davison. Not one bit. I'd much rather come to this one on Linden Rd.”
“There is a new younger cashier, love her. She is so friendly happy and bubbly. This is one of my favorite ones. It's always tidy and can find what I came for. However the older lady is usually grouchy & a little rude. I try to give everybody a maybe it's a bad day. but she can't possibly have that many.”
“Began work here in March 2022. Worked here til I seen my hours get cut, I transferred to the court street location in hopes of getting more hours. I never should've transferred. This location had the best management and great people to work with. So sad that all locations are going bankrupt!”
“I frequent the Dollar General on Coldwater Rd. Within the past year there has been a significant difference with the service and cleanliness! In all honesty, I actually enjoy shopping in there now. The staff greets you when you come in. The floors are clean (to be concrete floors) and it even smells clean now. There is no stale stench in the air. The shelves are stocked and I can actually make my way down the aisle without having to walk around products or trip over boxes (I can't say that for the surrounding Dollar Generals) Not only that, I've also overheard other customers saying the same thing! It's nice to know that they take pride in our local store now.”
“Five Below, always fun and interesting items to buy! Kids like it because they think they can shop like kings! Easily seen from Linden Road in Flint, lots of parking in a well lit, busy lot. Clean and well stocked, staff is friendly and very helpful!”
“Associate's were helpful in finding the items I needed. Although checking out was slow it was due to the cashier assisting a few people with special needs and making sure they understood what they were doing, which to me shows how well this particular cashier has compassion and cares about her customers as a whole no matter the situation! I've never been disappointed when i have visited this store and i recommend it to people!”
“I saw the dollar general on the corner of Fenton and atherton rd and I needed some laundry soap so I stopped in. It was so messy. It looked like bomb went off and this was about 10:30 in the morning. The cashier was nice and the price was really good. I wasn’t expecting it to be that low. Other than very messy, it’s still a good buy. I would go back again.”
“Love having this dollar general as my home store. It's always super clean compared to a few others located not too far from my house. I love the new updates with offering fresh fruits and veggies. Living out in Byron we're very limited to what's near if you need to just run up and grab something. Staff is great and always super friendly and helpful. Usually stop in a few times a week and I've yet to have a bad experience.”
“They may not always have exactly what you are looking for with regards to the specific brands that they sell, but you will indeed save money when you shop here and pick up any grocery and food items! I would highly recommend this business if you are a bargain shopper!”
“The new manager is very kind she has a great customer service skills and Leadership skills the stores clean and always stopped the prices have dropped down which we all appreciate and when I say oh I mean consumers for the first time in a long time I was in line prior to this it was hardly anyone coming in the store and she has straightened that store out and turned it around and her employees and her team do a great job at stocking and keeping everything that she knows that her people like which I mean by people us consumers she's doing a wonderful job thank you”

“Who doesn't like a dollar general? Well I do. It is a quick stop and shop. Perfect if you need a poster board for a kids school project, deodorant for a date, cleaning supplies because a kid vomited in the car, or you simply want a cheap t-shirt or socks. Dollar General is a dollar store upgrade. This store was busy as it was a few days before Christmas and I suspect stocking staffers where needed. Nothing like BBQ pork rhins and eggnog to get the holiday kicking.”
“This store has some great deals on groceries and I come here for kids summer toys that I buy for my Dog like the big plastic baseball bats that are 4.dollars and I also got the largest hard plastic kids swimming pool for my dog and even Walmart doesn’t beat the prices of these summer toys.My dog is a spoiled only child lol”
“Easy in, easy out. Well stocked and organized. I have never had to wait in a long line and I always find what I'm looking for. Much nicer than the Dollar General on the corner of Atherton and Fenton. That place is a hot mess compared to this one.”
