Very cute toy shop on the main drag of Sutton's Bay that specializes in more educational and/or sciency types of offerings. It reminds me of the store Natural Wonders that was found in malls when I was a kid. I loved that shop so much, so browsing through Brain Storm feels wonderfully familiar. There are tons of toys out for playing and testing and they encourage you to explore. And there's plenty of stuff to look at like stuffed animals, rocks like petoskey stones, puzzles, educational offerings like butterfly gardens and dinosaur dig kits, plus arts supplies, board games, building sets, etc, etc. Plenty of good fun for both kids and the kids at heart! Pop in and see what you find!

Just the best toy store. Owners are wonderful and will talk with you and let you try the toys out. We come here every summer trip up north.

Absolutely awesome toy shop! The owner (in the picture) was incredibly cool. He explained all the games to us and played them with our kiddos. He seriously knew everything about every game and kept bringing out more games and letting them play. If you are in Suttons Bay with kids this place is a must stop!!

I love this store. I went there a few years ago and had to go back again this year. The owner knows about all the games he carries and can make solid recommendations. They also have games open and available to play before you buy if you are so inclined. Also a good selection of puzzles and the most amazing windchimes (too big for my home but so cool) and other hobby-type products. Will always return here when I am in Suttons Bay.

To say our family loved our visit to Brain Storm is an understatement. We are vacationing in Northern Michigan from northern KY and loving the local shops. Here they had games the kids could try, touch, and play with. They were introduced to new games and took Klask home with us and added several to the Christmas list. The employees were interacting with the kids, teaching them, and helping my husband and I find the best bang for our buck. It was FANTASTIC!!!

The cutest little toy shop in the cutest little town. The owner/shop clerk was kind enough to let us exchange an item that my daughter realized was not at the level she needed. Highly recommend!

This Toy Store is hands down one of the best toy stores I've ever stepped foot in. While it's not a large toy store, they've done an amazing job filling it with some the best and most unique toys. Every time I visit there's a new toy on display that's really cool that I've never seen before. Andy the owners is an amazing guy and very passionate and knowledgeable.

I took my girls to this store intending on spending a good chunk of money. The manager refused us entry unless we had masks even though it isn't a requirement any more, a science store refusing to acknowledge science! Highly disappointed. Do not recommend wasting your time

Love this store so much!! The staff was so knowledgeable about the games, spent time teaching my children about the games and even introduced them to new games/activities. My children and I enjoy stopping in whenever we make it to Sutton’s Bay.
