Great tacos and service. Unique salsa. A little off the main highway but worth finding and enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine.

Love this place! I grew up in Sturgis and come down several times a month to visit my dad. We go here almost every time I'm in town. Tacos Al pastor are amazing. Meat is perfectly seasoned and slightly crispy on the outside. Chicken tacos are good, different than I've had before, in a good way. Quesadillas are always a hit too but those tacos. Victoria, who serves us almost every time we dine, is an absolute delight. Highly recommend. Side note: a lot of people think this place is just a grocery store but there's a separate restaurant in the front of the building.

Small, family style mexican food store and restaurant. Limited menu but the items sampled were very good. Clean and cheery.

This restaurant is located in a town that has many Mexican restaurants and therefore, lots of competition. We placed an order for nachos with a side of queso, guacamole and additional chips. It cost about $20 & that seemed a bit pricey. We thought the nachos would be coming with additional toppings but instead it was literally chips with queso on top. It made the chips so soggy that we couldn't eat them. The queso consistency reminded me more of gravy and lacked more depth a flavor. The guacamole was pretty tasty, fresh and flavorful. The chips were pretty tough, almost stale tasting. This particular visit didn't leave the best impression and I'm not sure we will be back with so many other options available to us.I think they have potential, but they need to work on their seasoning and flavor profiles- at least where the nachos are concerned.

Whoever cooks the lengua does an amazing job, best beef tongue in town, hands down!!! Seared nice and crispy on the outside while remaining moist and juicy. I've ate/eat at all the taquerias in town, beef tongue tacos or burritos are my go to, and I've gotten the best here. Only adjustment I make is requesting my burrito filled like how they do it over at michoacan (Tomato, Cheese, Lettuce, Sour cream, Avocado, Onion, Pickled Jalapeño with Carrot, No rice, No Bean) It makes for the absolute best burrito I've had so far. Stuffed full of meat and fixings but still wrapped neatly shut. (unlike @ michoacan, very messy.) When the restaurant finally reopens I pray the cook is still working here.
