I experienced what would be hard to mistake for anything other than casual racism. I was with 2 items on my way to a self-checkout lane and all machines but 1 were closed. I saw a lady and her daughter were about to finish so I waited then quickly approached. Before I scanned anything, the team member not a manager; told me the lanes were closed. I gestured at the lane with the green light on seconds after the lady before me finished. I was redirected elsewhere in the store. I pay for my stuff and on my way out a different woman with a cart full mostly of pop was checking out her items at the very machine I was turned away from. Also in a previous occurrence I was denied sale due to being $1.13 short on a $40-50 grocery cart because my card was having issues. I’m aware regular cashiers are authorized in rare occasions make exceptions to shortages on “change” for a bill. I won’t disclose what that amount is out of respect for Meijer but it’s more than $1.13. Other Meijer stores are great but this is the worst one I’ve experienced regarding customer service. If there was a different local Meijer, I would go there as an alternative!

Today employee Bill P. told me to go get my car so he could help me load a huge load of groceries into it. We have had 3 days of winter storm school and business closings and the parking lot was difficult to negotiate with a full cart. I totally appreciate his support and going the extra mile!

When you call on hold forever. When they say a time its never ready or some sort of issue. Most are really friendly but some not very nice. Need more staff for sure

I was charged 21 $ over on one of my RX's and 14 $ on another. When being rang up I was asked Do you still use Good RX? Yes I responded Salesman said ok we already have that in the system. WRONG !!
Double check everything they say & charge you. (on site) I didn't notice until I got home since I purchased other things as well. I called with in a hour. Told them what happened. I was told someone will get back to you. It's been almost 2 wks. Leaving mesages gets you no where. And I can't get back to town for another week. Pay Attention!! getting the difference back isn't happening if ever.

TRAIN their employees not to remove their masks to eat their popcorn chicken, wipe their fingers on their pants THEN put their mask back AND THEN touch a keypad!!
