About The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a popular secondhand store that has been serving the community for over a decade. Despite some inconsistencies in pricing and customer service, it remains a go-to destination for bargain hunters and those looking to support a charitable cause. The store is open for donations on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, but is closed on Mondays and Sundays. Customers have noted that the pricing system can be confusing, with items sometimes lacking price tags or having cryptic markings like "2Y 5B." However, the store generally maintains a fair pricing structure, with categories like t-shirts for $4.99 and pajamas for $3.99, regardless of the condition of the item. The store's organization and cleanliness have received mixed reviews, with some customers finding the layout to be a bit disorderly, especially in the toy section. The staff has also been described as ranging from friendly and helpful to rude and indifferent, with some employees seemingly overwhelmed by the volume of donations and customers. Despite these occasional challenges, many shoppers continue to enjoy their visits to the Salvation Army Family Store, appreciating the wide selection of gently used items and the opportunity to support a charitable organization. For those willing to navigate the store's quirks, it can be a rewarding treasure-hunting experience.

Lots of good stuff, but needed to be organized a little better. Some stuff looked like it was thrown around. Kids toys looked dirty and were in a huge pile.

I enjoy my visits to this location even just to browse. Pricing can be a bit scattershot (scatterbrained) but doable. I’ve definitely been to better which reinforces my 4star rating but nothing offensive overall.
