This experience was beyond disappointing and frustrating. The job was not completed, the owner stopped showing, kept asking for more money and was not paying the guys he subcontracted to do the work. The owner was very convincing and gave us his word and a whole spiel about honesty and integrity. He didn't have the reviews or credentials of other contractors we met with, but he seemed so sincere that we decided to give him our trust. It was a mistake. I would not recommend Bendler Brothers. We had a planned basement finish that was expected to take 4-6weeks and 12 weeks into the job, with a basement approximately halfway completed, the owner stopped coming. He kept asking for more money and told us he couldn't complete the work. We had foolishly paid him way more than we should have for the work that was finished. I will share more detailed information for anyone considering them for a job. Please do yourself a favor and continue scrolling to another company with a license, background references and absolutely don't pay more than materials until the job is done.

Poor workmanship, inconsistent hours, poor communication, did not complete grouting tile, did not complete drywall, tile work is uneven. Left workspace a mess and caused damage to my house.

Curtis and his team came out and did some drywall repairs for us. They were NOT easy jobs but his team handled the problems with class and expertise. I was very happy with the work they did. And Curtis gave me some great advise on other areas of the house that we were working on. Highly recommend them!

I wish I could give a 1/2 star or less. I went to the Preserves location back in April with a targeted move in date of October 1st. I gave them a list of 3 floor plans I liked and put down the hold so I would be on the list. They ensured me that it would be no problem and if anything came up earlier they would let me know. Well... one month before I was supposed to move in they contact me that they do not have anything available until mid November. At this time I had already put my notice in at my current apartment and had to move by October 1st... They would not refund the money I placed down, it was only $50 but its the principle... if they knew nothing was going to be available I wish I would have had more notice because trying to find something in a month was a scramble!
