“This place is hilarious. I go in there, looking like a tourist, because I am a tourist, and the wise guy behind the counter helps me out. "Steak and cheese? You don't want that, here's a steak and cheese roll. Hot out of the oven, just popped out before you came in. You see, everything we do here is made fresh. Just like Mama used to make it, you know? All those other guys, they get their stuff frozen out of the back of a truck and put it in the oven and pretend you can't tell the difference. Here, you like sausage? This sausage is gonna change your life. 99.7% fat free. You like that?" Amid all the boasting, and settingme up with a free sample, we ended up holding up the line a bit, and a regular was up next. The wise guy starts telling him "I don't wanna hear nothing from you, so don't say nothing. I'm telling you." Anyway, I get the steak and cheese roll, look up "Original Buscemi's" and I see like 50 of these places pop up on the map. So maybe they get their stuff out of the back of a truck like everybody else and I can't tell the difference. Either way, I was back two days later for a sausage roll. Next time I'm in the area I want to try a corned beef sandwich or maybe just get a sub. Feels kinda like back home in Jersey and seemed like a family owned place.”
