Terrible pharmacy, they never answer the phone, it's absolutely impossible to get through or get any type of service

To put it kindly, this is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to use. When RiteAid went closed, my prescriptions were automatically transferred here. I have had issues filling BASIC prescriptions, not prescriptions that are in short supply. Five times I received a text message or was told by the pharmacist/pharm tech on the phone that my prescription would be ready- four time I waited in the 20 min drive-thru line to be told there was no insulin to give me and I would need to come back or go to a different Kroger. The first time this happened, I was upset but understanding. The second time I was frustrated, but my spouse went to pick up insulin at a different Kroger. The third time- I was told they were completely out of insulin and would not have it until next week. I asked if I could speak to a manager, and someone else came to speak to me (I later actually met the pharmacy manager, this was not them.) I explained that this was very frustrating and the third time they had run out of a medicine that I need to live. I asked if it could be addressed with staff that they should not say medication is ready for pick up if it’s not. They person nodded, seemed glazed over and to not be paying attention to what I was saying. I know it’s not fun to be told you’re not doing a good job and to deal with angry customers, but the complete lack of empathy shocked me. The FOURTH time I near lost my mind. My spouse and I were on our way to Ohio to visit family and thought we could just stop by and pick up my insulin on the way. AGAIN it was not ready. We were told to go to another Kroger- luckily another tech came by and filled a partial script for us. We were told to come back to pick up the rest of the insulin. When we returned, 5 days later, I came to pick up the rest of the insulin I paid for. I was told that not only was there no insulin available- but I already had picked up my prescription. I clarified that I picked up a partial prescription and that this was the rest. I eventually was able to speak with the manager. I explained to them the situation again, and that this is now the 4th/5th time this was happening. She told me “this is the first time I’m hearing about it”. I believe she told me I could find another pharmacy if I was unhappy with their service, but I am rather hard of hearing and was relying on captions. Again- I was shocked by the lack of empathy. She said they were absolutely out. My spouse had to return the next week to pick up the rest of the insulin that they had “set aside”.
Today my spouse and I went to pick up another prescription. The tech/cashier was confused as there were “no prescriptions”. I told her that I had received multiple text messages to pick up my medication by today, and showed her. She went to get the pharmacist. The pharmacist said she could fill it but it would take 25 minutes- after we had been in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes. We went to the back of the line to pick them up again. The first person, Zina, who I had never seen before today is the only person at that pharmacy that I have experienced a SHRED OF EMPATHY with, and the one of the only folks who have apologized.
I have had Type I Diabetes for 25 years and have been picking up my prescriptions since I could drive. I value having a good relationship with my pharmacist, and have had good relationships at my previous pharmacies. This is a terrible pharmacy. Lack of empathy with zero customer service skills. Inefficient (you will wait 10 minutes per car in line at minimum). And unable to do the bare minimum- fill their prescriptions!
Folks who pick up prescriptions at a pharmacy aren’t doing so for fun, they are doing so because they need medication, sometimes life giving ones. My spouse and I have been looking for another pharmacy covered by our insurance, but as those with disabilities know- it’s exhausting. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism at this pharmacy. (I’m also relieved we’re moving soon and can find another pharmacy.)

They do the best they can in this environment where healthcare is against helping people with issues with pain & needing pain meds. They have always been as helpful as possible.

If I could give them zero stars I would. My husband has been using this pharmacy for 4 years, but the lack of competence recently is appalling. We've moved his scripts to a different pharmacy and will never go back.

The manager of this store must be "quite quitting ". The shelves are barely stocked and what is there looks like a Walmart the day after Black Friday. Tons of empty space or wilted vegetables in the produce section. The lunch meat section was all tore up and the kid restocking the shelves had no idea where the liverwurst would be located if they had it. He also had no interest in finding out or finding someone that could help. The fish and meat counter hasn't been open or stocked for months. After all that though I wanted to call out the very friendly and helpful employees in the deli and bakery. The only bright spots in this dumpster fire of a grocery store.

The best pharmacist I’ve worked with. The pharmacist routinely goes above and beyond.

Try calling them! Nobody will answer there, they just put you on hold and never come back.

Rude, understaffed ,and Kroger doesn't care that there understaffed Everything is rainbows and butterflies to Kroger, especially the ones who sit at the top. Fed up with pharmacy hours changing constantly, people have things to do and are on a schedule as well.

Posted hours change daily. I waited an hour just to find out my prescription was not ready although the app said it was.

This store had improved for a long time. Shelves are half empty again, cart corrals bulging, and store is dirty. Always out of stock on shelves. Starbucks is a joke, as employees are not properly trained. The drinks are terrible. Today, I made eye contact with four employees, who turned their backs on me. I had to go to the registers to ask for wax paper, which was not on the shelf. No one checked to see if there was more. Today, 12/10/21, I walked in and immediately smelled sewage. The shelves were half empty and filthy. There were 0 employees on the floor. I left and am done with this location. FYI: None of the self checks take cash.
