We arrived on a Thursday afternoon for a few days away as a couple to wind down and take a break. The check in was great. However that was the end of the positive experience.Friday night was horrible. Kids running in the hall, slamming doors, screaming, yelling, you could hear them in the stairwells even though we were several rooms away. We got zero sleep.Saturday was worse! They were in the parking lot in the afternoon half naked with whip cream. I have no idea what was going on. Saturday night they were playing golf, yes you read that correctly GOLF in the hall outside our room. More screaming, yelling, doors slamming, running the stairwells. We called the front desk twice to no avail. The breakfast place was not at all welcoming. I felt as though I was in the way of the staff who were restocking the breakfast area.Overall it was awlful! The beds were like boards and the pillows like concrete. We will not stay at this location again.Something needs to be done at hotels when adults are having their quiet time destroyed because minors are allowed to do whatever they want in a public place.I am waiting to hear from the GM as I left a message for them to contact me via email. As of the writing of this review nadda.

I absolutely love The Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand and their hotels. The hotel rooms are always very clean, comfy, and spacious. I recently stayed at the location in Sterling Heights, MI, located on 15 Mile Road. The service from the staffers and management was professional, attentive, friendly, and caring. The reason for my stay at this location was due to furneral / loss reason. During my entire stay, the management was caring toward my needs and requests. The management accommodated me with my request, and I gave them thanks."Thank you so very much" toAssistant General Manager, Paolo, for his professionalism, attentiveness, care, and concern. It's appreciated. God bless.Rooms: Very nice, clean, comfy, and spacious.

Definitely was a regret-able stay. I have been booking holiday inn express rooms for about 3 years. I typically book the location in Warren Michigan but decided to choose a different location for other services that this location provided. The manager was very rude and hostile. Myself and my family booked a total of 5 rooms and was given two different amounts for the incentive. Once I asked why was the price different, he responded with aggression stating that it’s never that way and his worker messed up and moving forward we will all be paying 100 dollars. Which wasn’t an issue but to be given the anger behind the employee’s mistake made our stay not very pleasant. I already was very considerate of the fact that I could not check in on time once I arrived. I had to be considerate to them because as the employer stated “they had a busy night before”, and I wasn’t able to check in until an hour later. Very rude and very unprofessional. I will be calling corporate to express my concerns.

Jordan at the front desk saved the day! We had to leave another hotel down the road due to a HORRIBLE experience. Jordan got us one of the last rooms and prepped it with a portable crib for my little one prior to my arrival. He went above and beyond to turn a rough situation around. Every request was met with all the hospitality one would hope for while traveling. I would definitely stay here again.

Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Staff was very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was the nicest I've had at any hotel since pre-covid. The rooms were very clean and it was a pleasant experience. When I discovered a broken deadbolt in my room, the staff switched me to a different room with no difficulty at all which I appreciated.

I had an excellent stay (again) at this hotel. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The room was very clean and seemed recently updated. Breakfast was well tended yet pretty basic. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of parking and very cose to everything you need. Has to be one of the best hotels in the area.Rooms: Very clean and updated. Plenty of USB charging ports. My room was very quiet and bed was very comfortable.

The only reason I chose this hotel is location for a family funeral. Very disappointed. No cleaning/ service for rooms and no warning of that fact when making the reservation. When requested our room to be cleaned they said they would "meet us halfway" by giving us clean towels. Gee thanks. Nasty place. Nasty management. Stay next door at the Staybridge Suites if you have to stay in Fraser, Michigan.

My dad and I were just at this hotel a few weeks ago for his 61st high school reunion from HamtramckHigh School. The staff was so nice and the place was clean and in the perfect location. My cousin Chuck made the reservation for us and thank god he did because rooms were scarce. My favorite employee was Human. He was so nice, very personable and you can clearly see he likes to help and has great customer service. Being a retired police officer, I can tell he truly cared. I thank him and please let him know I wanted to make sure to get him the recognition that he deserves!! Donna and Jerry from San Diego.

This is a newer Holiday Inn Express so everything still looked clean and intact. This is a basic and no-frills hotel chain so I came in with low expectations that were met during my two-night stay in January 2021. My room looked clean, the bed was comfortable, there was basic cable, a coffeemaker, and a microwave, and upon request, there is toothpaste and toothbrushes available. Unfortunately, no hot breakfast was provided due to COVID-19. There was yogurt, fruit, muffins, apple juice, and coffee. The service was okay. There was a woman who unnecessarily suspicious and eyeing people in the lobby. I did not think she treated customers the same across the board. The other workers there seemed nice. The neighborhood is pretty boring but there are a few things to do nearby. A movie theatre is in the same parking area as the hotel. Down the road, there is a Meijer, Chipotle, Culver's, Sonic Drive-In, and a few other food options. About a 15-20 minute drive west and you have Oakland Mall to the south and Big Beaver Road in Troy with more grocery stores and restaurants.
