We absolutely love happy dog day care for our dog, Jax. They are great with the dogs and owners too. We used to board Jax at Camp Bow Wow until we found Happy Dog. We’ve been using Happy Dog for a couple years now and will not look any place else for our dog boarding needs. We also love that we can have him bathed before we pick him up so he comes home clean, happy, and worn out (in the best way)! Check them out, you won’t regret it!

My Puppy Cooper has just started Happy Dog Daycare. Jim and his staff are amazing, they treat my puppy with nothing but kindness. Cooper is so excited once he realizes where he's at. When i enter the building for drop off he doesn't even look back at me before he's taken to the play area. My dog is family to me, so this means a lot to me that i can drive away with no concerns or regrets. Thanks Jim for being so great to my baby Tina L. and Cooper :)

If you are looking for a groomer hi highly recommend the one at happy dog. She was able to get a lot of fur out of my handsome boy. Not only does he feel soft but he smells fantastic.

TLDR: owner is prejudiced against bully breeds, will tell you to your face and then not allow your dog to come backWe were looking for a new place to board our dog after moving to the area. Saw lots of positive reviews so tried it out. The very first time we brought our dog in, the owner Jim made a point of mentioning "I've had problems with that breed in the past but I'll give her a chance"Our dog is a pit mix, we've had her since she was 10 weeks old. She had stayed at other boarding facilities and has been well socialized, we have never had any issues with boarding or being at dog parks etc.We had our dog stay twice, when picking her up the other staff members always said she did well, never reported any issues to us.When we called to arrange boarding the third time, the owner answered and informed us he would not allow our dog to come back as "she doesn't do well here". No other information was given.Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because we really liked the place, the dogs can go outside and the staff is generally kind and does a good job. It is a shame though that the owner is so prejudiced against certain breeds, and I feel that someone who really has that much experience working with dogs (as he claims) would know not to judge a dog based on breed but judge on a case by case basis. And if our dog really did have an issue, why were we not told when it happened?I find it hard to believe our dog randomly had an issue at this boarding facility, but never had any issue before or after at any other boarding.

Even though we've never had the pleasure of seeing the facility first hand. I've heard so many wonderful things about Happy Dog daycare. My boys and I recently added a new member to our family. A 20wk old female Shihpoo pup named "OCEAN". We can't wait to see if Happy Dog ever expands the yard for smaller dogs. I've been referred abs seen photos of many happy customersDear Happy Dog daycare,Please keep ocean in mind when and/or if you ever decide to except the smaller fur babies. We would love for her to attend.

Happy Dog is the only place I trust with my pups. Every single person that works there including the owner are extremely friendly. Also, you can see they care about your dog, and are doing their best to provide a safe, clean and friendly environment. At first, after reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little hesitant about bringing Blitz and Apollo, since Blitz is a 5 month german shepherd and Apollo is a 3 year old husky mix with pitbull (both considered "aggressive breeds"). But, they were both welcomed and they always have good things to say about them. I believe at the end of the day it all depends on how well behaved and socialized is your dog in order for them to be allowed here. You can't really be upset when your dog doesn't show good behavior, considering all we want is a place where fights don't happen and all dogs are safe. So, if you want your dog to have a great day in a safe environment do not hesitate to bring them here. Also, is a big plus the fact that you can check on them throughout the day watching the live cameras!

After trying countless other boarding facilities, Jim and Happy Dog Daycare came recommended to me by a coworker. We gave it a try 3 years and haven’t considered another since. He and his staff are friendly, personable and offer top notch care. I know if I have any questions or concerns he is a phone call away and is always honest and communicates any concerns he might have. I never have to worry when my baby is in their care. I highly recommend!

I couldn't be more grateful to Jim and the staff at Happy Dog! I was coming into town for my sister's wedding and completely forgot about the summer boarding rush. After calling a few other facilities that were booked, I explained to Jim my situation and he graciously offered to squeeze in my dog for two nights. After speaking with Jim, reading the reviews, and watching the live cam, I felt pretty confident leaving my beloved pup. It was so much fun to peek in on him during the day- and it also allowed me to relax and be fully present with my family knowing that my pup was in good hands. Thank you again, Happy Dog! We will be back next time we are in the area!

I cannot recommend happy dog enough. They take care of the dogs and have wonderful staff. Our dog has the time of her life while there and is exhausted for a few days after from playing! The owner Jim is incredibly kind. He was so patient with our crazy puppy Ellie, and we will never go to any other daycare. He is accommodating and they really are the best!!! All of our future puppies have a home at happy dog!

If I could give zero stars I would. We are new to this area, and After learning about a family emergency I called Happy Dogs to board my two well behaved dogs (German Shepherd and pitbull). I called to make a reservation, and a lady there confirmed it. When I walked in there was a young guy with glasses at the front desk and I explained the situation. He then tells me no, that they can’t accept them. I asked if he could bring the girl I talked to out so we can figure something out. and he said no. He was incredibly rude, and then proceeded to walk away while he yanked and dragged a poor dog away to the back. When he came back he then proceeded to raise his voice at me while I was standing an arms length away and was spitting on me while yelling at me.Even if it has worked out, I wouldn’t have left my dogs there in his care after I saw how he yanked the other dog (that wasn’t fighting or being bad) after the owner left. Will never be back and I warn others to do the same.

We take our Boxer/mixed breed puppy there and she loves it. When we drop her off, she is excited to see the staff and loves up on all that she sees. She plays, socializes, and gets her exercise. If you call and ask prior to picking your dog up from boarding, they will give your dog a nice bath and trim nails (if the dog allows, lol). They were pretty busy once when we picked her up early, and Jim the owner had us bring her back in at our convenience for a complimentary bath. He even shuttled her back home to us. :) Great place, friendly owner and staff.

Highly recommend Happy Dog for boarding and daycare. Jim and the Happy Dog staff are all great. We even got text message and video updates of our dog the first time we boarded him to let us know how he was doing. We’ll definitely be back.
