I usually don’t write reviews on places because I’ve been in the customer service industry and know what’s it’s like… This had to be one of the worst establishments I have ever been involved with. If I could turn back time, I would have never have had my daughter’s braces put on at this establishment. I started out at the Sterling Heights location because it was close and convenient . Having to take my daughter to the ortho once a month this was important to me.THEY scheduled her appointment on Halloween. I took the day off work after the appointment was made. Then they called me a week before stating they won’t be open because it was Halloween. Grown adults need Halloween off? And they left a message stating her appointment was moved. So I took time off work for that day. When we showed up to the appointment they rescheduled she wasn’t even on the schedule!They scheduled an appointment in December. I took the morning off work, got my baby ready, took my daughter out of school… just show up to the office and NO ONE be there! I called and called .. no one answered.Around and around I went. I could only get ahold of the scheduling people who have NO CLUE what was going on.After a week of calling I got ahold of a women who informed me that that Sterling Heights location was CLOSED. How did the scheduling people not know this information?!? PatheticNow , after choosing a place that was convenient for me and my family to have to take my daughter to for her braces, we now have to travel to the Royal Oak location which is more then twice as far and now at all convenient for us.My daughter also complains that the women who changes her braces is very rude and scolds her if she doesn’t listen to exactly what she says. “Mom I tried to stay still but I needed to swallow and she yelled at me”…DO NOT make the same mistake I did. If I could take my daughter’s braces off and go somewhere else I would.

My teens had appointments Jan 2 at 9am. No one was there. No one answered the phone. Called back twice throughout the day, mo one ever answered. Not happy.

They filed my claim through the wrong payer ID and now six months later they are trying to bill me for $1600. I received a bill of $166.40 and then I receive a bill saying that it’s going to collection for the $1600 The office is now closing. They have a new billing system and the lady at the Royal Oak office is trying to help me by resubmitting it to the correct payor. I hope the people at the Royal Oak office are much better in all facets service and billing. I have a great credit score, and they are trying to ruin that by sending this to collection. Needless to say I am very unhappy unless they resolve this. Check the BBB ratings. They have a F rate.

Worst dental office I have ever used. I was referred to them for orthodontics which I totally regret.I have not had any appointments nor received any services from them in over a year. I am now receiving a scam bill from this company. I confirmed more than once that I paid in full, no outstanding balance as of my last day with them. Over a year later, with no appointments/services, I am receiving an undetailed balance due bill just asking me to pay an amount. Nothing on the bill details any services that resulted in a balance. How do I owe money when I had a $0 balance at the last appointment? This is not a reputable company. I highly advise that you look for another reputable provider. Check the BBB ratings. They have a F rate.

Doctor misinformed me what would be covered by insurance. Extremely frustrating to get billing issues resolved. Most of the time nobody answers phone and you get transferred to a call center that can’t help with anything but setting appointments.

My first was impressive. The place is so clean and the staff, especially the doctor, were so friendly and attentive. I will definitely make Dental Works my family dental office!

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! THE most unprofessional office I have ever been too. Waited 2 hours in the waiting from becasue they only have one dentist. The dentist came out to the wisting from and said “who’s next” instead of calling for a name. I ended up walking out. Wasted 2 hours of my day for nothing. Honestly glad that I walked out becasue I do not trust them to work on my teeth.

Extremely unorganized. The staff seemed confused more than half the time. They couldn’t locate fluoride and sealant and had staff going room to room searching for items needed during our appointment. It took an additional 10mins for them to find items to give us a goodie bag at which I didn’t want and just wanted to leave due to waiting so long. Getting a hold of someone for a billing question is hard and time consuming as well. Location was clean and staff was nice, just unprofessional. I wouldn’t return.

The Orthodontist is caring, takes time to talk to you and make sure your happy, comfortable and understand what she is doing, and what the results willl be. She is very knowledgeable and professional which gave me great piece of mind and comfort! The staff is also very nice and easy to work with. I left feeling “wow! That was great”! Everyone seemed to care. And a very calm pleasant environment.
