I’ve been in this business for minor things, but this time I needed a new car battery. I had called around the day before looking for a car battery. I chose Great Lakes Battery based off the price, the 6 year warranty, it being a local, small business and their In God We Trust sign. The best part is the service was fast and the two employees that were working there at that time-Kayla and Brogan. Both employees were efficient and friendly. I had hardly finished paying and my car was complete.

“Let's start off by saying; there's no comparison to you guys to autozone. I went to autozone and this manager. She wasn't too friendly to deal with the first time. She claimed when I went there this morning prior to you guys that she doesn't allow her techs to do anything to vehicles. She had an attitude. I'm like wow. I went next door and one of your workers there by the name of mike, not only took the time to assist, my situation came out to my vehicle and did whatever he possibly could to make sure. It wasn't my manifold and then checked where my air filter was. To Make sure everything was on tight. Then he came back and got the gauge. Hooked it up to my vehicle. For it to potentially be the oxygen 2 sensor so I want to take the time to thank Mike. In O'reilly's. You guys did a great job!!! Phoney on Auto Zone.”

“Wess was very helpful after 3 stops to autozone they got me the wrong part each time and the right part number on the box but different part number on the actual part well wess took his time to clean the original axle seal off to see the part number and to make sure i got the right axle seal i will definitely be coming here for now on i could've saved so much time thank you wess ( assistant manager)”
“Went into the Royal Oak Michigan store for wiper blades. The fella who helped me was very friendly and helpful. The computer was showing different sizes so he went outside and removed mine. Compared to the recommended ones and found I had the wrong size on the car. He went back out and installed them for me. A fine experience.”

“The service and staff here is FANTASTIC. I was having an issue with my Grandsons Power Wheel Jeep and had replaced a couple of parts that I suspected were at fault that unfortunately did not address my issue. I was referred to Battery Giant by Power Wheels. I took in the battery which was making a clicking sound. I was assisted by Scott who was UNBELIEVABLE. He took a genuine interest in my issue and took me to a demo area of the store where we discussed possible issues with my particular vehicle. Most people and companies would simply tell you to bring it in and they diagnose it and then fix it. This would have been fine and what most customers would expect but Scott went well beyond expectations. Scott volunteered to test the battery I brought in even though I had explained that I thought the voltage was in spec. He ran a test on the battery and diagnosed the problem I was having all along with the Power Wheel Jeep. It was the battery that was defective and not producing the amperage required to power the vehicle. The battery I needed was unique and fairly uncommon. They had the part in stock which I purchased. The price was was great and a steel when you consider the fantastic service. THANK YOU SCOTT AND BATTERY GIANT.”
