We had 2 defective tanks & needed an emergency delivery. We were promised that we would receive tanks by Friday 2/16/24. Tanks were not delivered until this week. We were out of propane & unable to load or unload trucks for a day & a half.

Wow, my last review is now gone. Bet you can guess it was a negative one. This one is pretty simple. Called, canceled, requested a tank pick up (yes, surprised by $149 fee I was never told about). 4 weeks later their tank is still sitting there. I was told a couple weeks. So unorganized with this company!!

8/31/2023 Update: FINALLY the AmeriGas tank is gone. But, this messed up story continues!!!! So when I bought this house I extended the previous owners contract with AmeriGas. They had been with this train wreck of a company for 10+ years. I have been with them for 1 year 11 months. Upon cancelling I get a $149.99 Early Termination Fee, and $149.99 Pick up THEIR tank charge, by the way which I've paid $149/year for leasing, for it just sitting there. If you don't read any of these reviews and you sign up with this company I won't feel bad when you end up having to wait on hold for hours to try and get this fixed. I'm now contacting the BBB and any other agency that can help. This is all after there customer service reached out to me and said they would HELP ME!!! I wish I could give them negative ratings.7/25/2023 Update: Wow... it gets worse! I finally talked to someone. They apologized for it taking a year and said they would take care of this and there would be no charge. They scheduled an appointment for someone to check the move out. Prior to the appointment I got a text and email asking if I still wanted to keep the appointment. I went in and cancelled it. After cancelling it, a technician called me several days later at my house. I don't live there, I live down state. And I told him I cancelled the appointment, but we talked anyways. I went up north the following week, 7/17-7/21, and then a technician shows up. After I cancelled the appointment 1 1/2 weeks prior. This is crazy! So I talk with him since he's there, even though I am caught off guard that he is there. The next day I get a bill for $200 for his visit, that I cancelled. I called again. I spoke to a lady who said no more visits were scheduled. On 7/23 I get an email stating I have an appointment on 7/25!!!! I call again!!! I talk to a lady who states there were notes to cancel the appointment, but no one actually cancelled it. So, now I think things are finally cancelled, but now I am stuck disputing the bill. She said that might take 4 to 6 weeks... REALLY?????7/11/2023Customer Experience is 0 stars. This company was good... obviously they sold out. Now I cannot talk to anyone local. I wrote a request LAST YEAR (2022) to talk to a technician about adding a regulator because I'm moving my tank. I would turn this in if the tank wasn't full. I am going to switch as soon as I burn this tank up. Joke of a company. Call the 800 number talk to Asia... and they have no clue what your even talking about.

It is very frustrating to not be able to speak to the facility directly that handles our account. We should have a contact for issues that arrise.

This has to be one of the worst companies to deal with. I'm 46 years old and this is my first ever company review; that's how frustrating it is to deal with this company. I feel I have to make people aware of the issues you will face if you deal with this company. The customer service is horrible. They have very little experience and sounds like all of their customer service is based outside of the U.S. Very difficult to understand customer service and to get something done.

Amerigas became crooks!!! switched calls to overseas-shame on you! went to pay before delivery! Shame on you! To leave them they charge $149 term fee + $149 Pick up fee + $100 service fee!!! Are you kidding me? Also when they placed my tank I told them this was not my main residence and they recommended a 500 gallon tank with a rate lock just so they could charge me an extra $199 tank rental for not meeting the minimum fill. Do yourself a favor and call Webster Garner or anyone else. I would have given negative 5 stars if i could have.

People are nice and no waiting line so was quick. I came here because Google told me this is closest and 20 lbs refill cost me $20 plus tax. That's $4 per pound. U-Haul is a bit far but $3.25 per pound. But U-Haul is always crowded... so I guess it is trade off. Is $3.75 worth the time and fuel I save...

I use the AmeriGas for a one month event for a church. To 1000 lb propane tanks used for heaters. The delivery was almost a complete bust since the event was on Sunday. I called multiple times, had to argue with the installer. AmeriGas wanted to deliver everything on their schedule after agreeing to help us out on our schedule. Pick up was requested on a Thursday for removal on Friday or Monday. They left huge propane tanks on a church campus for two whole weeks after the event. My representative was completely unresponsive. Will never use them for any of my heating needs again.

This used to be a great company when you ordered gas the call was picked up by someone in the local office or if you were local you could get bring a tank to them for a refill. Now your call is directed to a call center out of state a much slower process and you are not allowed to bring a tank to them for a refill you have to wait for a delivery.
