Trax N Wax is a great store with a great staff and a large, huge selection of new, used, and reissued vinyl and CDs. The massive selection covers mostly pop and rock, with smaller sections for blues, jazz, soul, and rap. There is a great movie selection as well, including an excellent and ever-evolving horror DVD and VHS collection for physical media collectors. While recognizable and well-kept records can be pricey, there are plenty of deals, cool finds, and bargain bins for collectors on a budget who enjoy digging. The reasonably priced inventory moves quickly, so if you see something you want, you should buy it. The staff provides great service and can custom order items if available. It is absolutely worth a visit, especially for those in the area east of downtown Detroit.
