Ram and his team are great mechanics. They took care of my 2013 Accord with a bad oil leak. I was preparing for the worst case scenario and Ram called letting me know that there was a hole in my oil filter. Another shop told me it was the valve cover and possibly something worse. They got me back on the road, didn't gauge me, and didn't bad-talk the other shop. Class acts. Will be going back. I can entrust them to maintain my family accord.

My experience with this mechanic was outrageously disappointing and a clear demonstration of dishonesty and unprofessionalism. Initially quoted for brake repairs with no caliper issues, my trust quickly evaporated when a missed call led to an unreasonable delay and a bizarre refusal to fix the car, citing my 45-minute callback time during work as the problem. The situation escalated when, after agreeing to a doubled quote under pressure and picking up my vehicle for the weekend, I was hit with condescending, misogynistic remarks and another quote doubling for calipers, based on unfounded accusations of driving the car against advice. Adding insult to injury, I was later told I'd need to sign a waiver or pay for their towing service, under the guise of safety concerns. Thankfully, a second opinion from a different mechanic (The Shop Complete Car Care Centers on Harper Ave) revealed no caliper issues and completed the work at half the price, confirming my suspicions of the original mechanic's deceit. This experience was a stark reminder to avoid this mechanic at all costs, as they embody the worst stereotypes of the auto repair industry, leveraging dishonesty, manipulation, and chauvinism to exploit their customers.

DO NOT COME HERE! I wish I could provider 0 stars. I brought in my car because of a noise it was making. I explained what the speed has to be to make that noise. They told me they would call me Monday to tell me what's wrong. I called three times till I got a call back. I was told "nothing was wrong" and I could get my car. I told him that was wrong and after arguing for 3 minutes he said " I guess I can lift it up and look at it". Why didn't that happen from the start? Long story short my fuel pipe has a crack in it. I am not sure if they treated me this way because I am a woman but I will go anywhere else even if I have to pay more. Horrible service

A review for Special One Auto Repair. They came referred to me, so Monday I stopped in for an estimate to replace 2 valve cover gaskets on my 2009 Jeep. He knew exactly what needed to be done and what side might offer more problems in the repair process. I was impressed, because someone else told me that too. Great price!! Today I dropped it off and because I felt good about Ram and his staff I asked them to replace some other parts too while they had the top of the motor exposed. By lunch she was ready to be picked up. I was expecting a call this morning to tell me I needed this or that (the ol' upsell), but it didn't happen!!! Needless to say I found a new home for auto repairs. Honest, professional, clean uniforms (yes!! Uniforms), clean shop, knowledgeable about cars and repairs, friendly. I would RECOMMEND you check them out. 12 and Little Mack in the Shores. Thank you for a great experience.

I was very happy with the experience and job They’ve done not to mention the cost for the repair was reasonable and the tension to detail.If you’re looking for a good mechanic then this is your place. If you’re looking to have something repaired specifically or if you’re not sure what your problem is then this is your place. I will look for to sending my repairs in the near future especially when honesty is hard to come by nowadays.
