Dr Cox is the best doctor I’ve ever had.

Pros:1) Friendly staff and technicians2) Last minute urgent appointment availability when my doctor couldn’t see me3) Easy location and parking4) Imaging and lab onsite5) Short wait timeCons:1) The doctor I saw had never heard of long haul Covid… Just so you know, Henry Ford actually has a long haul Covid clinic… this tells me the hospital/medical system is doing a very poor job of educating their doctors about this and probably other things if primary care physicians are unaware of what long haul Covid is, the greatest mass disabling event of all time, and that they likely have 20% of their patients suffering from this… and not getting the proper care or even being sent to the long haul Covid clinic. Honestly this is very sad and unacceptable.2) The doctor I saw told me she was not feeling well, and she was also not wearing a mask… I am an immunocompromised patient and this was incredibly disturbing to hear. Especially as Covid numbers and hospitalizations increase. Why are you working if you’re sick? Why are you risking patient safety?Overall, I have to rate this office low because of the weight the cons hold.

Honestly Henry ford is the worst hospital ever. And I’ve never even used anything else but children’s when I was a kid. I’m not sure if they’re owned by Henry ford but I have to say, since I’ve been an adult and been coming to the hospital to get help for health concerns Henry Ford has always given me sub-Par care. (For example: I need a doctors note for tint on my windshield because unlike the other 99% of the world I was actually hit by a car in kindergarten and lost mobility for almost a year had to learn to walk again, and I’ve had sensitivity to light since I can remember because of that. I literally take Tylenol like it’s normal daily just to keep them at bay… morale of the story my PRIMARY CARE DR. Asked me do I have anything from a neurologist so she can write me a letter. As if getting hit by a f150 at 5 isn’t enough to possibly cause migraines and other issues? Not sure if I worded this right but basically if you’re reading this don’t go to Henry ford. Go to YouTube.

This complaint is about Dr. Vunnam. The rest of the staff is very nice and helpful. Especially her M.A. Sam. He's wonderful!I would not recommend anyone to see Dr. Vunnam. I stopped seeing her a while ago because she's hard to deal with and hard to communicate with. She doesn't understand Anything you say. She also very rude and doesn't know how to talk to someone respectfully. I had to check her at my husband's appointment for the way she was talking to me. She talks to people like they're stupid. I was told that she talks to Everyone like that. Every time we leave her office, we're more confused than ever on what just happened! Now, getting the runaround about paperwork she was supposed to fill out. Keep getting bounced around. I'm definitely going to switch my husband's doctor like I did. We don't have the time or patience to deal with Vunnam's rude, smart mouth and her Not understanding what anyone is trying to say regarding how they feel.

I saw Dr Cox for my first appointment with this office - my first dr’s appointment in several years. I was transparent that this was my first appointment in many years and I wanted a routine medical examination to establish my baseline health. Dr Cox did not perform any of the routine medical tests or examinations for an adult male between 25-35 years old. He did not collect any blood samples, he did not perform any cursory cancer screenings for males, he did not collect a thorough medical history, he did not perform a blood pressure test. His examination included merely prodding my gut, briefly listening to my lungs, and telling me to consider a “Mediterranean diet”. I spent no more than 8 minutes with the doctor.I was so frustrated with the experience that I complained to the Henry Ford Patient Advocate which was a waste of time. While nice, the Patient Advocate was only able to provide excuses for Dr Cox’s abysmal quality of care. They demonstrated no sincere concern for the quality of care provided, offered no additional recourse, and actually suggested I return for a follow-up with Dr Cox to request the labs that he failed to collect. If I could complain to an even higher authority about the negligence of Dr Cox, I would, but this appears to be the quality of care provided across HFHS now. It is unacceptable that the clinic tried to shift the burden of negligent care onto me, the patient. Don’t take your family to this location, and do not waste your time filling out the patient feedback form being provided in response to these low reviews. For your efforts, you’ll get a laundry list of excuses.I can kindly request the clinic not post a follow up to this review. I will not fill out your external link.

I have seen both Dr Pandrangi & Dr Siddiqui, they are equally great physicians. They take a lot of time listening, & asking questions. Their knowledge is & compasion is unparalleled.

The dr I saw didn’t help at all with my depression and anxiety. She barely tried to understand me and she’s only seen me twice. I do not recommend Rehana Siddiqui if you need management on mental illness. I have never received poor treatment from a dr. Doesn’t care to listen to me at all. I want someone to talk to me about this issue because she is mismanaging me.

This place is so slow. They show no interest in providing prompt service and will leaving you waiting with no explanation of when you will be seen by the nurse's or doctors.

This place is ok I went thru 3 different doctors. If you ever need surgery plan on jumping thru hoops and taking every test in the book, and not getting approved till the day before your surgery.

I have been a patient at East Jefferson over 17 years. Dr Pandrangi has been my doctor for 15 years. She has been through 3 back surgeries, mental breakdowns, and family issues. How do you love your doctor? Because I truly love and care about Dr Pandrangi, she has truly been there for me with my physical and mental health. She very to the point and let you know what is needed to stay healthy. She truly cares about her patients. I just had to let HF know they need a Dr Pandrangi in all departments. Sometimes we should take out time to speak on the good and not always on the bad.

Dr. Cox is the best!! He actually takes time to talk to you and get to know you. I appreciate a Dr. Who actually takes their time to learn about their patients so they can get the help/treatment they need. Thank you!!
