1 star for initial experience with Red Dot. Just paid for the unit online and that was fairly east. Competitive prices. Went to bring things from our old unit which is further away to the new unit. Sent my son to the unit and when he got to the gate, the gate code wouldn't work. Called red dot and received another code that they said for sure would work and I was to use it for first 7 days then my other code. He went to use it and it didn't work. Told him to call since he was right there and it would be easier. He tried but couldn't get any where because if you're not calling from phone you registered with you're screwed. So I called them back and did a 3 way call. The lady finally tells us that she now sees that there is an issue with the gates but there is a secondary gate we can use. Her description on how to yet to it was lacking for sure. He found the gate and it was already opened!!!(concerning). Looks for our unit, finds it (our section apparently one of the only ones with super tiny letters/numbers on it. But after all that, couldn't even get into it because it had a lock on it!!! Had to bring a ton of boxes back to new house with no place to put them. Not cool

Poor customer service an won't do anything to protect the customers Properties at all there is no supervisor on call on weekends at all there has been so many break ins at this place that they don't call the person at all there is no lock on the main door to protect the person's stuff an I will not be recommending this place at all an they just stole my friends stuff so we had to call the police to have this whole thing Descalate.

I didn't have a good experience with this place. Not only did the website have issues, but after many hours, of repeated attempts, I finally made the rental. When I got to the facility, my troubles started again. The gate code I was given did not work. I tried it several times. There was a sign up, that said "If you have any trouble with the gate please text this number... Which I did. We waited for a half hour and then I lost my patience. I contacted Red Dot and told them of all the trouble I was having. The lady on the phone gasped when I told her that I was at the facility and I could not get in, because the gate wouldn't open. Then she said oh I see we're having trouble with the gate, but out tech team is going to fix it. She said there's two more gates you can use. I told her I was looking at the other " gates" and they lead to no where, they did not access the main part of the storage facility. So by now , all I want is a refund, because I'm done. Moving is stressful enough, but to have all that extra trouble on top of it.... UHM NO THANKS.

Had to get space quickly since the property manager evicted us. This place is horrible. The gate is not functional so we had to go through a padlocked side gate (we got the code from their customer service). Their customer service was also ad hour behind us due to their location being in an entirely different state. If you need space quick, don't come here because you're not getting in until 8:00. Our unit was one of their bigger ones, we had to walk down a snakey hallway to get to it. Absolutely horrible.

The gate is always broken.... The gates are closed early sometimes as early as 6 when they're supposed to be open until 10... If I'd know how this Red Dot Storage was ran I'd never rented from there.... It's really sad as to how it's done there...

I would not recommend this storage facility, there's never anyone around to help you. There's always people rummaging thru everyone's units. The security is a joke. 0/10

Gate is frequently out of service. You may find the site not secured or you won't have access to your items.

They say you need to key code but the doors are open constantly also looks like nobody's in the storage facility and you have no security whatsoever I'm already looking to remove my stuffI would go here only if in dire need

MICE EVERYWHERE!!! I placed my stuff in this storage for 1.5 months and mice got into everything!! Now they are in my new house and the office refuses to do anything about it. They make you purchase renters insurance through them but it does no good. Awful customer service, no follow through and rodents galore. Another woman was in the office complaining of the same thing the day we went to complain the management never even showed up to the scheduled appointment.

Most terrible experience ever. We got our unit in December of 2021. Now October of 2022. We have never had a working gate access code and was barely able to even get our stuff into the unit. Since then we have never had access to our unit and only get a help line to assist us who just gives codes that never work to gain access to the building. Multiple times of being on the phone for hours trying to gain access during normal business hours and they just say they will call us back and never do. On top of the ridiculously high price of storage for what you get there is no service to actually help to get you access. After multiple uhaul rentals and moving company costs to go there to retrieve my property we have gained no access. Once I leave and try to call again they say you should have access now but when present I never have access. I requested to set up a date and time and appointment to guarantee I can 100% get access to my unit and they would not do that. They have padlocks on secondary gates and when a request to gain access through these points they have declined while I am on site. Once I leave and call on another day they assure me I can get access through secondary locations but once on sight I still have no access. 100% would recommend just leaving your stuff on the side of the road vs using this company as they make no true effort to help you. I wish corporate had a number so I could possibly get more help.

I have had nothing but problems with this place. Both onsite/on the phone. Over the Years, we have used this space for my business. I can not wait to be done with them as they increase their prices and have terrible service. You will waste your money and not get the quality service using this company. It's unfortunate that I have to post warning others and I honestly wish I could say better things.

The gate only works part time most of the time when I put my code in it says "sorry not in service" and doesn't allow me access to my two units a 10x20 and a 10x30 so unless I get lucky and someone else is coming out I wasting a trip across town
