The Penny Pinchers is an awesome place to shop and generally very customer friendly. Have had issues with taller man at the 21st Street store that works on Saturdays. He is extremely rude and does your business a disservice by being that way with customers. Argumentative and just nasty disposition. That is not the way Jimmy wants his business represented and would fire him. I have been coming into your store over 7 years and have never once had an issue until he started there. I will not go back there as long as he is working there. I understand at least 2 other women have had similar experiences.

I drive from Jackson to battle creek just for this store. Huge selection of goods for great prices. Yes some are out of date...but honestly I've never gotten a bad package. Id recommend hitting this store up before going to the major supermarkets to catch the savings.

I usually shop the other location in town..But had a rude employee remark about 3 things that I had in my cart back up to the proper price after I brought it to her attention upon checking out....The items were miss priced obviously.. as I immediately noticed.But instead of honoring the sticker price, she repriced the items on the counter after seeing that dang near the whole shelf in the isle was miss priced.So I proceeded to cancel my order and left everything in my packed cart and already on the counter as is, where is !And left the premises...As that is not something that (Jimmy) would do to a consistent and loyal customer....So I decided to still stay a loyal friend and customer...And visited the other store on the opposite side of town...Where I got a great reception ?Great service ?And a professional and proper service, support and solution to my prior experience at the other location ?The man at this location was very helpful and considerate and accommodating ?And more than made up for the lady at the other location ineptitude.... !Still a loyal customer and friend....Thanks for all the great deals over the past 6 -7 years Jimmy Z
